Here’s my team for tonight -

McKenna, Yates, Taylor

The only three players who have put big shifts in for what at times have been desperate team performances this season.

Throw in young Mighten who now needs game time and perhaps Arter for energy.

That’s it, just five players fit to wear the Garibaldi.

Not as though any of the players read these message boards but if they did- here’s my message to you -

The majority of the squad AREN’T FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT.

No desire, commitment or passion, too many just going through the motions. And also I have a message for our recruitment team-

Do you have any clue at all or are you all too busy playing golf?

Respectfully Yours,
a disgruntled, dismayed and completely pi$$ed off red.

Redfrog the problems all stem from the shocking recruitment. Once Lamouchi got involved then he just went after players that played well agsinst us last season. Their needs to be a period of consolidation and continuity. Its a squad bereft of the neccessary quality and the only way to get that right is time. The failure to sign Grosiki indicated the incompetence in this department but also he would have made a difference. How we get through this next bunch of matches collecting crucial points is anybodies guess. I hope Hughton does not lose heart.

You never know, RedFrog, you might be one of the 'lucky' ones that can get in the stadium.

This squad doesn't lack quality. It lacks CONFIDENCE. I'm not a footballer but I am a sportsman. Confidence is the number one ingredient that winners have - assuming all professional footballers are fit enough to do the job (looking at you Luke Freeman) .

Having said that, the "scouting" is hit and miss. We have signed some good players in the last few years and some pretty dire ones. The biggest problem with our recruitment is that we don't plan it around the players we could develop. You need to use your best prospects as back-up instead of keeping failed bad signings and/ or signing average player who then stop the youngsters progressing.

What I'm trying to say is we sign too many players who are squad players and not regular starters. We should use the youngsters as squad players and then we will know when they are ready to start AT THIS LEVEL. If they do well on loan we often don't have a clue whether they can handle the Championship still.

LOL psycho- as if anyone would want to pay to watch this dross! I wouldn’t even think we could get 4,000 fans on current performances. I've followed home and away for years- but not anymore. Enough is enough.
