Ed what's your opinion on what's happened to young Clough at Forest, can't say that he didn't perform at Bolton because he certainly did, the first few games at Forest were ok. Did he get a injury of some sort that we haven't heard of, has he just been unlucky, did he flatter to deceive at Bolton or has he just thought, I've got a long contract here, I'll do as little as possible pick up my wages, squirrel most of my money away and not bother about playing football . Or is he really just a poor player, very strange.

Why would you think that?
It could be many reasons
Maybe the big fish in the little pond?
Played under always negative managers since he joined us.
Went back to Bolton with walker and played under the most negative in Parkinson and then made a por decision to go to rochdale
The boy has something as he showed when he first signed.
Problem is we have had coach after coach that have had the pressure put on them to succeed immediately so flair and creativity went out the window.

You may be right red, he’s gone from being a very good prospect to someone who doesn’t no how to play the game even at lower levels.

Well its enough to give them mental health problems don't you think?
Confidence is a great leveller in football when a player is confident you see the best when he's not you often see the worst.
Clough has only been here 3 years and had to contend with six coaches/ managers.
Like i say they go negative from day one as they know its instant results or they are out.
What would you do?
Im not asking that question from a fans point of view i'm asking from the managers point of view?
If you bought your own players in fair enough but they don't.
I wish chris all the best and really hope marinakis doesn't expect promotion this term, we aren't good enough and the squad lacks pace and goals.
Give the guy time to work with what he has then let him decide what he needs and then he will probably suceed.
