Hi Guys, first time poster here.
I’ve been looking at premier league players who are out of contract this summer and had some idea about players we could sign
Jordan Ibe - Bournemouth, Winger. Hasn’t really achieved what he could have when he left Liverpool for the south coast but is certainly a player that could fit in with how we play. Clearly has the ability but lacks end product at times. Could see him in our shirt.
Carlos Sanchez - West Ham, CDM. With Watson seemingly becoming more injury prone and getting much older we need another CDM that can play in our system. The obvious choice for many would be to bring jack colback back to the club. But Carlos Sanchez would be an alternative option, more of a solid CDM as opposed to a ball playing one (although his passing range is decent) would provide a great option to the squad.
James Chester - Aston Villa, CB. A cb that I’ve always thought highly of, hasn’t had the opportunity I feel he should have had at Villa this season. That being said for a squad role would provide excellent cover to worrall and figs.
Signing any of these players would certainly improve the squad and would only command signing on fees and wages. Would like to think we could complete some shrewd business and sign ibe and one of colback or Sanchez.
