At last! Having read who he's bringing into the club and the new initiatives, Evangelos is certainly living up to his name which means 'bringing good news'.

cheaper season tickets apparently . a good way to ease yourself in!

2.) 18 May 2017 22:40:53
He hasn't eased his way in, he's gone full throttle
First day he's put a board in place, told us he doesn't make promises, just delivers
Gave mcparland a contract and told everyone what we knew he'd been backing club financially all season.
Put the manager in place before he's took chargeas well.
Hes addressed every issue without being asked and shown the fans his blueprint for our club to thrive.
Totally impressed very professional.
Ive had more information today on his first day than I've heard in years from the forest hierarchy.
Long may that continue.
The thing that impresses me the most is his willingness to set up a fans advisory commitee and allowing a representative to attend board meetings.
Thats giving the club back to the fans.
Well done if his first few hours arr anything to go by, then the future looks bright.
.

Britt not in squad - over to the rumour mongers.

1.) 12 Aug 2016 19:11:16
He probably gave De Vries a lift to Glasgow.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 19:11:53
He's at the match. Probability a cautionary measure as he may either carry an injury or to save him for the Brentford game. Team still looks solid.

3.) 12 Aug 2016 19:14:50
Team looks solid? not to me it don, t
CARLO.

4.) 12 Aug 2016 19:18:31
Dazza

I like your optimism👏👏.

5.) 12 Aug 2016 19:19:35
Strange team carlo keep ya fingers crossed.

6.) 12 Aug 2016 19:19:55
If we come home with a point tonight, it will be like climbing Everest with no rope.

7.) 12 Aug 2016 19:27:08
Why has our oaks got Dutch elm because Lars is playing.

8.) 12 Aug 2016 21:40:55
Sorry but that was poor tonight.

9.) 13 Aug 2016 00:48:18
I'm all for giving people a chance but Veldwijk was just awful, I think I saw him win 2 headers all game, looked disinterested mostly. Was so disappointed not to see Britt play. If we are going to win anymore games we cannot start with Lars.

10.) 13 Aug 2016 04:15:22
Not good enough. I think we have a squad of talented player completely wrong for this league. We need a player like Cohen rather than flare like kasami. Where is he going to be when we are 1-0 down in the rain away at Ipswich!

11.) 13 Aug 2016 06:24:16
Oganay tree

Can't believe you picked Kasami out for abuse! You clearly didn't go to the game as Kasami was a stand out performer and was only him and Burke that looked like doing anything!

Lars and pato can't keep playing for us when they play like that but I understand we didn't have another option up top so we were stuck but I'd have sooner left Burke on and payed him as a striker.

Osborn was biggest let down as we all expect more from him. Manceinne should be doing better too! You can't underperform against teams like Brighton and not get punished!

12.) 13 Aug 2016 07:10:35
Mysticred. Not necassarilly digging kasami out for criticism last night. And if a team has a solid looking shape and a foundation to include players like that then yeah. But we look so vulnerable that we need to retain possession and use it economically and sensibly. He will spray 50 yard worldies twice a game with 8 step overs but lose possession 10 times. Talented player but I guarantee he is a passenger by October.

13.) 13 Aug 2016 08:12:26
Neither kasami or lansbury played high enough up pitch to support lars who is simply not good or strong enough to play that role, and if he's starting ahead of velios its not looking good if britt gets injured . Pereira has no defensive nous but looks ok going forward . The two most likely ward an burke were subbed! A new pairing centre halves no matty cash definitely workvin progress!

14.) 13 Aug 2016 09:02:38
I was at the game last night and lars defiantly can't play the lone striker role but agree there was support for him. Unfortunately 9 out of 11 players didn't seem up for the challenge and were lacking desire. Don't know why Burke came off as he looked our only threat. Don't know what Pereira was thinking last night as he had a shocker of a game. On the plus side it can only get better and hopefully Britt stays.

15.) 13 Aug 2016 09:36:48
Last night's team selection was a complete disaster, what the hell was he thinking when he picked that 11 and bench, maybe he had enjoyed a few glasses of wine on the bus to Brighton. Completely the wrong formation, players being played out of position, lack of strike power, plan b very weak, untested players at this level against a strong Brighton team. He needs to find the best 11 and bench, stick to it and only make changes when forced to and play players in their natural strongest positions.

16.) 13 Aug 2016 11:01:02
Thought Pereira was great going forward and at least kept trying til the end. Burke should have scored and had several forceful runs but his head went down and he stopped getting back behind the ball Deserved to come off. Makeshift defence and it showed big time. Missing far too many experienced players last night. Iacovitti was out of position and got cramp early in second half. Not ready for step up yet.

17.) 13 Aug 2016 11:33:45
Pereira didn't have a great game like a lot of them, lost possession far too many times for me. I would have thought Velios should have started last night, but there you go Lars it was. A lot of work to do.

Why is the match only available for international viewers? Can anyone explain as I live in Norwich and can't get to every game.

pastorforest

1.) 14 Aug 2021 13:06:19
Simple mate they think people would not turn up to the stadium and sooner pay a tenner to ifollow rather than 30quid on a match ticket.
Plus when Houghtons football has sent you into a deep sleep it's comfiest on the couch as to trying to sleep on a plastic seat 😄🎈.

2.) 14 Aug 2021 13:15:05
Because clubs have been starved of income due to c.v. there not televising a lot of games to make people go to grounds and pay.

3.) 14 Aug 2021 13:17:36
Pastor mate as i told humourist iv'e got a dodgy firestick 😉 don't know if your on Facebook or anything but a lot of people are using them now make some enquiries if you can. The game is ready to go on my ifollow, hope this helps. I pay £60 a year and get everything 👍.

4.) 14 Aug 2021 13:51:02
Iv'e checked my ifollow and the game is on there ready to go?

5.) 14 Aug 2021 15:12:09
Dam my apologies it was on ifollow but obviously as you've said not showing it wa#kers.

Help please - can anyone tell me why Lyle Taylor's interview on iFollow is locked.

pastorforest

1.) 26 Oct 2020 19:32:37
Do you have access to YouTube? That's where I watch all things Forest.

2.) 26 Oct 2020 20:09:36
Many thanks RS - will try Youtube to access this, but it's so annoying that it's on the iFollow section of the website for which I pay good money.

3.) 26 Oct 2020 20:19:54
Maybe he doesn't want to get injured
🤭🤭🤭.

Well my friends, West Brom played Derby off the park tonight and put a huge dent in their play off chances. I note it's Cocu's Derby when they lose! Rooney was whinging and whining with The AR when taken off and also with Bilic at the end.

pastorforest

1.) 08 Jul 2020 20:05:13
Keeps us 7 points ahead of them. It's Cardiff we need to be wary of now.

2.) 08 Jul 2020 20:43:55
Bsered and Swansea, we still have to play them.

3.) 08 Jul 2020 21:03:51
Its swansea we need to worry about.
Forget the sheep and cardiff.
Its in our hands only forest can mess it up.
Win two and its game over, which we should but with no fans and atmosphere anything can happen.
Its a lottery, but its ours to lose.

4.) 09 Jul 2020 08:55:32
Rooney looked a fat old man yesterday evening, this schedule has really caught him out, he looks 33going on 50 at the mo,

5.) 09 Jul 2020 09:06:55
Really hope we beat Swansea. we owe them remember.

6.) 09 Jul 2020 09:49:22
Forestforever 79. At least this year we are talking about Top Six, in previous years we have mostly been talking about relegation.

04 Jul 2020 21:38:07
So Sky reckon Chris Martin was MOM. Je ne comprend pas. Which game were they watching? Further evidence that the Forest face doesn't fit unless it's Mick M co-commentating. He gave us the credit we deserved. We will stay in play offs and hopefully get to the promised land.

pastorforest

1.) 04 Jul 2020 22:09:49
It’s a miracle Rooney didn’t get it, you’d think he was the only player taking part before the game, as it was he disappeared at 12-30.

2.) 04 Jul 2020 22:45:09
Tell you one thing diakarhby will never be anywhere near man of the match.
Everytime he comes on and we are winning we concede and end up drawing.
Not sure but can't remember a game we won when ge was involved.
A total plank, that isn't worthy of being calked a footballer.
Lamouchi ditch him he's a waste of space.

3.) 04 Jul 2020 23:05:16
Ff79 diakarhby doesn’t look great, but can’t see how you can anywhere near pin this one on him mate,

4.) 04 Jul 2020 23:51:25
Not Diakharby's fault that he is not up to much, never ran back to cover, never tackled, never did much really, but it was SL that put him on, maybe if he'd given Mighten more time and put Tyler on for Grabban we might have done better.

5.) 05 Jul 2020 10:18:53
Or maybe if he’d not put Mighten on anyone else might have buried that chance . Diakhby doesn’t look great but neither does Mighten after that miss.

6.) 05 Jul 2020 11:13:04
Mighten on for speed, Tyler as striker.

7.) 05 Jul 2020 11:13:05
Chris Martin MOM? Seriously? Goes to show what SkySports think of Forest. All during the build up with was Rooney this, Rooney that. Got me so bleddy annoyed. A one man team at the moment are Derby. Martin should not have been anywhere near MOM yesterday. Between Watson, Figs, Sow, all day long. Thought Costa showed some nice touches too. And if only we can get Diakhaby working properly we may just have a flying winger on our hands (he’s lightning but has no end product at the moment) .

I notice Soudani plays with a No. 2 on his back - closet right back? Seems a cracking player.

If it wasn't for Mr Bloom we'd be totally in the dark. As it stands we're just groping about in the twilight zone.

FF79 - For me it's sadly Sabri Mk 2 so far, not the start of the new dawn we'd hoped for. Saw the match. We didn't offer any threat whatsoever. Not convinced about Bong either - maybe lack of games. Just wondering when CH will settle on his best team. Mid table at best unless we start taking a game by the scruff of the neck right from the start. BTW - when did Ribeiro get injured?
