Rumour mill is definitely in full swing at one local rag. Pope; a Ukranian striker; a Barnsley player; lo.

1.) 08 Jun 2022 13:36:47
Chim - Good to hear rumours we hear this season end are now in our favour. Rumours on who we are going to buy - In many seasons gone past its whom are we going to sell.

This time last season Worral looked like he was the one, and for once we kept him and just like magic we reap the rewards. Burke, Lascelles, Darlow, Antonio, Cash and Osbourne to name a few.

Much better fir me hearing those we can buy.

2.) 12 Jun 2022 10:15:43
Think we just need the club to do their work a nd sure there will be some good signings coming in and SC and his staff and work and improve them.

31 Jan 2022 16:33:06
Me again (don't hate me! lol) Nottingham Forest agree £2m transfer as part of late triple deadline day plan.

1.) 31 Jan 2022 16:58:48
Surrige on his way to us for two million and Jonathan panzo having a medical.

31 Jan 2022 16:11:30
Forest chasing Stoke's Surridge, as a transfer deadline day striker signing.

31 Jan 2022 14:03:07
Apparently a bid for Bristol City's Antoine Semenyo has been turned down. He's rated as £20m by them.

1.) 31 Jan 2022 14:42:28
Bet we weren't anywhere close.

14 Aug 2020 10:31:28
According to local NEP, Lyle Taylor is in talks with us. Is he any good? How do you guys rate him? Bit concerned that he's 30 to be honest and think we should perhaps be looking at a younger striker.

1.) 14 Aug 2020 10:49:21
Good striker. Had a great season for charlton last season. Can be greedy at times but is certainly something that can be adjusted to his game.

I will be very happy if we sign him. 3 year contract done/
Ideally we’d sign Toney instead or get both. (Seen Grabban has been linked to a couple of clubs in Middle East, maybe these two in if he leaves)

2.) 14 Aug 2020 11:01:53
If lyle is greedy then he won't be playing alongside grabban who he himself is greedy and selfish😂.

3.) 14 Aug 2020 11:33:46
Not sure we can afford Toney or dealing with Barry Fry again! But agree he's type of forward we should have in to replace Grabban.

4.) 14 Aug 2020 12:28:05
Interesting to hear Peterborough interested in Tyler Walker as replacement for Toney. Has proved he can do well at that level maybe a loan to them and they can turn him into a 10m valued player 😀.

5.) 14 Aug 2020 16:45:44
How many seasons does a 30 year old striker have left in him? No more crocs.

6.) 14 Aug 2020 17:50:38
Sounds like terms agreed and medical today so looks like we will see bsered.

7.) 14 Aug 2020 18:26:01
Better than Chris Martin!?

8.) 15 Aug 2020 09:50:33
These days with their diets and fitness, strikers go on a lot longer, at least 3 more years from Taylor.

At 35 Teddy Sherringham scored 21 goals in 33 matches, Man Uniteds top scorer that season and won PFA and FWA Player of the Year too, not too shabby for an old boy.

I think Taylor is a great FREE signing for us if true.

9.) 16 Aug 2020 22:08:22
Teddy was an exceptional player, no comparison with taylor who has been a lower league journeyman coming to prominence with Wimbledon.
Ok as back up but don't get carried away he's a 20 goal striker at this level.

10.) 16 Aug 2020 23:54:27
The point was, you're not done at 30, Taylor contributes a lot to a team, not just scoring goals, ask any Charlton fan.

Looks like we are set to miss out on Neco Williams, as Fulham are preparing a £10m bid. This, and the rumour that we went in with a ridiculously low bid for Nihakate (sp? ) is starting to make me feel like the penny pinching, trying-to-do-it-on-the-cheap Forest of old. Yeah, I understand we need to be careful to some extent, but this is the Premier League and prices are sadly going to be very high now. Teams around us making signings already. and we seem to be dragging our heals. I think our mentality is stuck in the Championship. Weeks until the start of the season, and if we carry on like this, we will go into the first games of our prem lives getting mauled by even the poorest the prem has to offer. Bit doom and gloom, but we've been fans through this sort of thing before. And ended up being relegated.

1.) 22 Jun 2022 10:32:59
I get why Union were pissed with the low ball offer. But I think it's very hypocritical of them to be so annoyed they would have done exactly the same to any other club and have a low offer first to test the waters. I do agree with you that I too am starting to get worried with the lack of signings yes there are a lot of rumours but nothing has come off them. Look at the Henderson talk it's been going on for weeks. Unless we get some positive news and soon we are dead in the water.

2.) 22 Jun 2022 10:49:16
My thoughts are it’s too early to assume we aren’t going to build a team to be proud of .

3.) 22 Jun 2022 11:14:59
Agreed 2Star, we've had a fantastic season and now some are falling into the same pre-season doom mongering as every season.

We have irons in the fire and I am sure there will be some deals going on we don't even hear about. I think these guys know what they are doing and we need to trust them to get on with it.

Personally I just think it's people own impatience to know who we're getting.

4.) 22 Jun 2022 11:20:21
Doom and gloom, you say 71, definitely! No need to panic, players will be signed, who knows what goes on behind the scenes. It wasn't Union who was naffed off, it was Mainz. Panicking over Fulham preparing a bid for Williams, who's to say we haven't made a bid. Papers have to write something this time of year, don't get drawn in. I'm sure we'll sign players that we want and indeed miss out on others. Enjoy the sunshine everything will be fine.

5.) 22 Jun 2022 11:43:36
It's all press waffle lads and the biggest culprits are the Nottingham Paste. Refused to reopen a multi million pound deal. yea whatever?
If we don't get Williams so be it.
Plenty more players out there and don't worry about last year's loans there ain't one of them prem quality so time to build is required. Contracts don't end till 30th June. ?.

6.) 22 Jun 2022 13:19:19
Oooh, a paper says Fulham are "preparing a bid. " Must be true. Obviously means no way can we sign the player!

Obviously, other teams will bid for players. That doesn't mean they won't come to Forest. If other teams don't bid, it means the player is probably sh1te!

Even if another team bids for a player, they are allowed to sign for us still. What you are going to find is that younger players will want to play under Cooper, giving us a better chance.

7.) 22 Jun 2022 13:19:37
Randall likes to make a impact point, give it a few weeks, and he will have four players in Forest tops, smiling for the cameras! .

24 May 2022 16:03:38
Anyone notice the relative lack of press coverage / reporting of the Man City pitch invasion, compared to ours? I read one punter stating that because they've won the league, it is to be expected. Biased to Prem once again.

21 May 2022 10:37:51
Now my nerves have calmed down from Tuesday night, I can't begin to tell you how panicked I was watching the Blades making a comeback. It just so happens that the last time I was physically at a Forest game was. back in 2003, a play-off semi, at the City Ground, where we were in the lead. All came back to me, and right up until the last heroics by Samba, I thought history was once again going to repeat itself. Phew. Mightily relieved!

1.) 21 May 2022 13:23:29
Same here mate.

17 May 2022 11:52:10
So, do you think there will be a red branded tonight? If so, who is your money on to get it?

1.) 17 May 2022 12:19:31
Robinson, Heckingbottom 🎈.

13 May 2022 10:10:26
So, big game tomorrow. What would you say to the players to inspire them before they head out the tunnel?

1.) 13 May 2022 10:29:16
Don't listen to some on here 🤔🤣🤣.

2.) 13 May 2022 10:34:51
Hope that doesn’t include me !

3.) 13 May 2022 10:40:36
Bowie 🤣I’d play them a montage of the support they have had from the stands this season and then just tel them to go out and perform for their future and for the fantastic supporters who spend a fortune backing them every week. Job done 👍.

4.) 13 May 2022 10:46:02
Ayeup keenred I'd cancel that hotel
Cooper has got manager of the month award. 🤣🤣🤣.

5.) 13 May 2022 10:47:51
Show them a Premier league wage packet? 😉🍾.

6.) 13 May 2022 11:32:57
Most of them will no doubt know the riches of the premier 79. And there's me stood in a food bank queue the other day. for an hour. I was only trying to invest 3 cans of beans 🤔.

7.) 13 May 2022 11:46:25
What was the interest in the beans at the bank, perhaps Cooper should take all the player's to a food bank to show me most people are only 1 wage packet from the street.

8.) 13 May 2022 11:59:58
Don’t get me wrong, I want forest to beat Sheffield utd both home and away and then go on to be triumphant at Wembley and be promoted back to where this club and its great supporters deserve to be, that’s back in the premiership then back into Europe.
I just don’t feel confident that we can do it, if we can it’ll be a dream come true for me and every other Jollyforester.
So come on you reds……I’d just play them some sex pistols and partisans tracks to get them fired up.

9.) 13 May 2022 12:10:34
You don't need food banks, one of our local MPs says. You can make a meal for 30p, he says. In touch with reality, no way I say.
Forgive me, first ever non football post.

10.) 13 May 2022 12:19:50
You can make a meal for 30p……. if you buy some reduced bread then Knick a can of baked beans 😂.

11.) 13 May 2022 12:27:57
Is it the one who claimed £220,000 expenses last year ?
What’s a matter with the people from North Notts , I bet their ancestors are turning in their graves.
PS got lidl,s spaghetti hoops on toast today and every day ,about 20 p ,I,ll send him my tip!

12.) 13 May 2022 12:44:18
That would be Ban Bradley. That's just his expanses in the last year. It was another £200,000 the year before.

But we are all in it together? My backside!

13.) 13 May 2022 12:32:52
That same MP, Lee Anderson, claimed £4,100 last year for 'subsistence' - Basically a food allowance.

That equates to £11.23 a day over 12 months.

I'm not a violent man but I do think it's ok to punch a Tory square in the face. Repeatedly.

14.) 13 May 2022 12:57:20
Well that's the end of that thread. 🤔.

15.) 13 May 2022 13:05:14
What are wages for if you don't have to pay for your own food? The whole system is a joke.

16.) 13 May 2022 13:09:33
Thats the chant to the players. Think of every SU player as a tory mp and kick em up a height. As for the ball. Boris the liars head . Get a labour ref in and two lib dem linesman. And stevie wonder on VAR.

17.) 13 May 2022 13:10:22
The country as I see it, the Tory’s and the queen.
Don’t want to live any monarchist dream.
The royal family and the government takes the money you need to pay for 💩 and Downing Street party’s, so do you think this system is fair?
When you can’t afford the clothes you wear, they got mantions and loads of land.
What we need to do is stand up and fight, so don’t believe a word they say it’s all spin and lies.

18.) 13 May 2022 13:48:57
Our -30p MP, on this lunch time. All you need is, just a handful of flour, one small onion, margarine, meat, salt, free water, and some veg. Stock.
Utensils, mixing bowl, sauce pan, baking fish, cooker, gas or electric, oven, glove,
When finished washing liquid, bowl not water.
You might have some things already, but if your short of a few things just pop round to the back door of parliament and they will provide what you want.

19.) 13 May 2022 16:34:03
Might celebrate with that when we get promo.

20.) 13 May 2022 17:46:55
One tory said try the alphabetty spaghetti. So what if your dyslexic. Do you starve. How do they know what letter is a starter. Ok ok I've got to be politically curect.

21.) 13 May 2022 22:08:02
Tony Blaur didn't do bad for himself to say he's working class? 🤣🤣🤣
Sir stammer yep you can trust him. 🤣🤣🤣
All in it for the doors it opens to make them richer.
Anyone who thinks differently is deluded themselves no matter which side of the fence you support.

I personally wouldn't worry about the comradery, as I think it is very much Cooper and co who have been responsible for that.

Exactly why I've not watched them in any real capacity for years. Apart from the recent Euro comp, we never deliver on the international stage. We are about as boring as they come. I'd say as boring as watching paint dry, but that would be doing the paint an injustice lol.

Always been a admirer of Samba. Yeah, he can be a loon at times, but there is often a fine line between genius and insanity. and every so often that line is crossed lol. Well played, big man Samba.

Bsered: Samba did indeed get many of the match from Sky. Well deserved.
