Thing is Bowie gesture a goid honest professional and will look better with a quality player alongside him, he reminds me of steve Bruce who would never gave won so much had pallister not been his partner at centre back
It's not always about the individual player, sometimes it's about the partnership in that position and the understanding, Lloyd and burns had it, Charlton and moore had it, when on paper better players in one position where available.
