If Ndoye only scores 5 goals then, if you're predicitons are right, that team would get us 68 goals which is exactly what Newcastle qualified for champs league with.
If we sign another decent attacker that would put us in the mix if we defend well again.
Or Wood scores 20 again and we win the league? ?.

Why do you expect top 10 finish rhr, what have we done to deserve it my friend. Done well on a freak season. Chelsea, sh1tty, man u sh1ted still get away with it. but no realistically why do most on here think we deserve top notch football.
Coz I'm lost tbh. So many walls in front of us, you know reds, I say most of this because of my love of the club. Seems wrong I know. But when you lot put the bar higher. Then the players must jump. I agree with ya Bowie, we're still relatively new to the prem and still pulling together a workable squad. A nice cup run, go deep into Europe and finish midtable ish well away from the drop zone and I'll be happy. Never know we could even bag the Europa league and get some champions league pennies next season for the war chest. ?.

Freak season=Man U and Spurs fighting relegation, can't see a repeat next season.
Chelsea looking very good now, jury still out on city, Liverpool and Arsenal have strengthened, villa and Newcastle will be up there.
These sides will fight it out for the euro spots and the rest of us will fight it out for the scraps. ?.

To finish top 7/, 8 assuming Man U are rubbish again, we only need to stay or get ahead of teams like Brighton, Bournemout, Villa, Brentford, West Ham etc. It's possible but not a given.
We don't know who else we are going to sign yet or how quickly new players will settle. Sometimes one or two new players hit the ground running which can fire you to a good start. Sometimes they don't but a good start and anything can happen as it did last season.
