Think everyone needs to get off their horses, far too much pessimism. True we had a bad game, but we also had similar experiences under Nuno, so I’m not getting too carried away.

Good post SB. Disappointing performance but
Let’s look at the facts….
Everton are purring atm with Moyes ( in post over 2 seasons with an actual pre season and funding to hire players like Grealish, not like SD with 6 weeks under his belt and 3rd manager this season, picking up the pieces) and are 5 from top whereas as we were 5 from bottom
Everton had an extra days recovery whereas we had a game Wednesday night with travelling ( ie not much time to prepare and recover injuries). I’m assuming Everton flew to Bournemouth and back from John Lennon.
We have a massive injury list ( we were lucky in that regard under Nuno) including key players like Wood, Murillo, Aina Olna, Luiz, and now Yates. That’s without back up players like Zinchenko, Bakwa etc.
OK, I don’t absolve SD from errors of selection ( easy with hindsight) for yesterday including keeping the same starting 11 from Wolves. I’d have started Yates instead of Sanghere for example and CHO for Ndoye), but it’s easy from our armchairs isn’t it comrades.
Keep the faith. SD is our best chance in the situation we are in. Coyr!

Stokey, I could not have put that better myself. Everton are on a high atm. Somehow they need Toto beat or draw with Spurs next Sunday to restore confidences all round, players and fans!

One thing I'd add stokey, is we have to stop these individual errors, because that's what cost us the game
Also cut down on all this launching from sels, if we are going to keep doing that then no point playing three central midfielders, better with 442.

Good points DTP. Dyche just needs time on the training ground. Look at what we achieved against Liverpool when SD had a two week international break to prepare. The few days will be like gold to him.
I’d just add that, while Everton were much the better team we got nowt from the ref. Savona booked after 30 seconds when I thought he got something on the ball and Grealish went down like he’s been shot, what’s that all about?
Plus Tarkowski should have seen red for a pretty straightforward violent conduct. That’s the same player who cleared a shot off the line when he shouldn’t have been on the pitch.
The ref may even have given them an assist for their breakaway second. The results of the official complaint will be interesting.
Remember also Everton haven’t had the extra Europa games to contend with. SDs biggest problem to solve is to have time to prepare and recover with his reserves depleted and key players injured. We looked knackered from the start yesterday…. but solving that problem is what he’s paid the big bucks for and what he’s personally equipped to do.
