We all know that gibby will be sold one day, that’s life for us. To win the trophies he will want to win and get the England caps he wants (I think he play for england as a forest player though) it’s likely he will move.
I hope the conversation was along the lines of: Forest gave you your big break, give the fans another season and let us get the most money we can get for you. I don’t think that is too much for the club to ask of him in all honesty.
It’s decent of him to enable that to happen, as we need maximum return on him
It’s no different to Jono who was sold for maximum money because we needed the money. like jonno I’m sure he’ll be subjected to the same negative comments, and will once again be called a Judas.
I would have never booed Gibby - he’s been fabulous for Forest and Forest have been fabulous for him.
Whatever happens next will end up being the very best outcome Possible for the club.
This owner is a legend, he talks of Gibby’s courage and bravery - when you’re in charge the shadow you cast generally drives the culture of an organisation, and then the behaviour of the people within it.
We’ve had arguably the most legendary manager (who plenty didn’t like) we now have a legend of an owner, that many don’t like.
Let them carry on not liking him because like clough he refuses to accept there is a hierarchy that we’re not allowed to be part of.
Chances are we won’t be part of it, but one thing is for sure, you don’t get much out of life if you don’t give it a go.

I also have to say 2 Stars that the last sentence of your post gave me goosebumps - not only in Forest-terms but more so in terms of our lives in general. Superb mate.

I’ve got two true stories about lifetimes….
Firstly, Woody Allen once said in an interview “I want to achieve immortality. Not through my films or comedy but just by trying to live for ever …. ???”
Secondly, my brother in law had great rapport with his GP, one of the old school.
A few years back he went to see him to have some tests done on a medical problem ( that turned out to be nothing much).
When he went back to the Surgery for the results the conversation went like this….
“Well, Doctor, am I going to die? ”
Dr “ Well Mr C. we are all going to die one day”
“ Doctor, I must say I’m very disappointed with your attitude”……?????.
