We had a genius of a manager in clough back in the day, it was great and a time to enjoy, the problem when you have to move on from that great manager is who. can fill that void?
Frank filled it initially with the help of a genius striker in collymore, when collymore left we were done, then apart from Bassett and van hoydonk and Campbell for one season we've struggled with bad decision after bad decision from second owner after scholar fleeced the fans as the first

Well in a few years he's done more by a million. miles, yes maybe impatient at times, but there is a determination to get is back to the top. and we are a money pit to any owner, we own nothing as a club and a business, so who would invest in that?
Whatever happens it wasn't for not trying from the owner
The players aren't crap at all its about finding the best blend.

A number of the people now blaming the players were blaming the coach before he was replaced and saying Cooper should be doing well with these players.

Cooper didn’t want all those players, he was quoted as saying that he wanted to keep the team that took us up. But he was only the coach not the manager, so a bus load of new faces arrived with only a few weeks to get a side out of them. People knock cooper but I sit in the upper Trent end and I’ve never heard anyone calling him. Me, I’ll always be grateful to the man for what he did for us TRUE reds. Wembley was the best. The city ground doesn’t rock anymore.

When we first went up we got O'Brien, Toffolo, Bowler, Neco and MGW. I think all these players had input from SC, maybe naive for the Premier, we will never know because Mr 30% got involved and brought any player with a pulse!.

Cooper continually overruled by non football people, the same people still roam the corridors of the CG and while they have so much influence things will continue to deteriorate.
A group of ex players and at the time current players told Cooper to stand up to them because they would sack him anyway but unfortunately he didn’t take their advice ands low and behold he got the sack for their decisions.
These peoples over ambitious ideas for Forest are what’s put us where we are today, possibly relegated.

Well Skeggs we can all have an opinion, as a season ticket holder i have mine, haven’t missed a game since retirement even having brain surgery long the way. I don’t know which cooper your referring to because freeman couldn't hold a candle Stevie cooper. Perhaps your thinking of Tommy cooper, then you would be right as Tommy cooper and dougie freeman were both comics.

The other glaring difference is that Cooper proved he knew how to KEEP US UP. We were 5 points outside the bottom three when he left. If we were another 5 outside now we'd all be a bit less scared. If the current trend continues, Nuno is taking us down, regardless of points deductions.
Please no! Whatever happens, we need to survive this mess of a season.
Let's hope that giving up the spirit the club had does not mean we can't finish the season with the same passion we did last season, because that is how we stayed up.
