PHEW! That's a lucky escape.

Let's hope CH has learnt from his time at Norwich and Brighton ( both very negative styles of play )
chris hughton article
1.) 17 Oct 2020 10:15:59
Read different things but any manager that can do it with two teams and admits he plays the style that suits what players so not going to judge and majority of the Brighton games he played 433 so would say that's negative but I don't really care as long as points is all that matters at the moment.
2.) 17 Oct 2020 10:24:45
I hope he will get the players to play more positive football than before also but players leaders tend to stick with what has been successful for them.
3.) 17 Oct 2020 10:58:53
Read the article and thsnks for posting. But we heard no complaints when the teams got promoted.
4.) 17 Oct 2020 11:22:42
Someone said on here that negative football is accepted when winning but fans soon turn when on a losing.
That hits the mark.
5.) 17 Oct 2020 11:52:16
Positive and negative football 😂.
6.) 17 Oct 2020 12:25:35
God forbid any positive or negative messages on here 🤣🤣🤣ðŸ·ðŸ·.
7.) 17 Oct 2020 13:03:04
I think some people on here seem to think we are about to play like Man City and attacking football.
CH is a counter attacking manager same as the last chap.
I think today it will be setup to not lose and take a point.
8.) 17 Oct 2020 13:15:00
CH is a manager who knows how to win games of football in the championship. That’s good enough for me.
9.) 17 Oct 2020 13:16:54
I think you will find not many, if any expect a Man City style of play.
I expect a slightly more open style of play, that is it, the midfield will be allowed to go further forward in my opinion.

It doesn't bode well for the forthcoming season - too much uncertainty upstairs hopefully doesn't lead to a relegation scrap.
1.) 20 Jun 2016 14:55:50
I'd bet with anybody-we will not get relegated 😊.

Listening to talk sport this morning and warnock was co-presenting
He was being very coy about Forest and said he wants to face Benitez as a manager this coming season
He kind of dismissed the villa job when asked when pressed on forest he wouldn't say a word
Would be a good shout in my opinion.
1.) 26 May 2016 11:18:08
I personally would be gutted, would love someone a bit fresher, but there's no doubting his ability. If I had a managers wanted list, he'd rank about 94th! But if he lands the job, fair play to him. I'll support whoever takes over. There seems to be a bit of a buzz at the minute, sponsors, new shirt etc. Good times ahead, I can feel it, in my considerably sized loins!
2.) 26 May 2016 11:59:18
I would accept Warnock but it would be the same old Championship football, i agree with Never Wrong A let's get some sexy, ole! type of football at the City ground, ⚽😎.
3.) 26 May 2016 12:55:59
Id be happy with consistent results and effort - the fandango flair can wait.
4.) 26 May 2016 16:36:02
Sexy ole football with Matt Mills, Jack Hobbs, Decter Blackstock and others. Now that would be worth watching. It takes years to build a team that plays that sort of football and the championship isn't the place to try and learn either.
5.) 26 May 2016 17:48:37
Hoof football it is then, can't wait. 17 years out the top flight, but still people seem frightened of change. Let's try something a bit different, u never know it might just work!
6.) 26 May 2016 17:53:09
Can you imagine mills playing a 5 yard ball in stead of hoofing 40-50 yards up field? no I can't either. you are either born with it or your not. mills Hobbs and a few others have other qualities (still to find mills) but ole footy isn't there game.
7.) 26 May 2016 18:28:20
Give the ball to someone who can play if the ball is on play it we at times take up positions next to opponents instead of finding space options for the man on the ball, it's hard work finding space but a little encouragement and help of analyst it can be possible.
Fox as a left back very very poor but at centre back he could play a ball out well am I going mad prasing fox.
8.) 26 May 2016 19:11:25
I'm not asking for forest to play like Barcelona, but we used to be known for playing passing football on the ground. True some players in our team, lack some talent, but then that shows the poor decisions past managers have made in bringing sub standard players to our club. Stop the rot, let's get back to being a passing side.
9.) 27 May 2016 07:04:15
Mills has three options in his skill repertoire, 400 hundred yards long, 800 hundred yards high or stand around scratching his head till the opposition take it off him.
15 Apr 2015 19:52:38
Great start !!!!
0-1 already - this could be a humping I fear
1.) 15 Apr 2015 20:20:25
How the modern day footballers have changed. It used to be a thumping but now its a humping!!
14 Jan 2019 13:10:08
Give the guy a chance before writing him off. Who realistically did you think we could get?
13 Jan 2019 13:21:40
Big Sam till end of season
He will teach these muppets how to defend and offer him big bonus for promotion
11 Jan 2019 21:29:52
Jardim was touted for Real Madrid / Man United and arsenal
If and it’s a big IF we got him then that would be unbelievable
Top coach in Europe land for sure is LJ
21 Jun 2016 14:31:12
Worked a charm for Ole Gunnar.
Does this pave the way for Lascelles to move on?
03 Oct 2021 11:45:54
Pearce had the fans 100% until the wheels came off.
Early days with the new boss and so far so good but I’m sure there will be some negative results, he can now work on the defending during the international break and instill his philosophy.
30 Aug 2021 19:10:11
So who should we be in for then Perko?
30 Aug 2021 17:19:52
Perko: we shoulda bid for messi eh!
25 Aug 2021 11:43:00

If it has to be someone unemployed then lampard.
24 Aug 2021 11:32:58
Danny Crowley on stats alone is surely worth a look?
holds a 51.7 win percentage across his 12 years as a manager of four different clubs.
