We will either get walloped or pull off a draw. If we beat them it would be a very significant step forward. I always err on the side of caution. I think it will be a tense game.

We beat or drew with most of the top six last season so not really a step forward just retaining the status quo. It’s finding a way to beat the teams in mid table downwards that has been our problem in recent times.

We win 3-0 and some people’s opinion is it’s because Birmingham were poor, not that Forest played well and didn’t let Birmingham into the game.

From what I’ve seen of the extended highlights is that we squeezed them an they weren’t good enough to get through us, which is good play from us, I think some people meant that if we were playing against a better team it might of been different but u can only beat what’s in front of u, 3-0 is great result could of been 6 or 7.

A lot of posters on here have painted themselves into a corner with their doom and gloom predictions and they're now rightly finding it difficult to contradict themselves with a positive post after such a good performance. They'll just sink a few more Stellas and put the result down to Brum's deficiencies instead.
You'll find a lot of fans rarely post anything positive.

Just think if the DOF had signed some decent players, Joe Lolley was in sorts instead of out of them, Grabben was interested and Michael Dawson wasn’t past it, oh wait a minute!
Great result today just one of the ups for the season ahead, let’s hope there’s more ups than down.

Good point today, rode our luck but all teams do at times. The manager seems to be a no nonesense type of guy who sets out what is expected from his players There seems to be a team spirit and a desire to succeed and also some talent which always comes in handy. Keep working hard for each other and who knows what could happen.

Just replayed the Dawson and Grabben interview after the game today. They are all in this together. They know there’s work to do but I honestly believe this is our year. Dawson is a true pro and was honest in his summery of the game but knew that was a huge point for Forest. I also like this manager and he speaks with truth. Give this lot 4/ 5 weeks and I think we will all be happy with the effort and style of football. COYRS.

Think you misunderstand at times as I feel sorry for Lamouchi that the dof hasn't got him another quality striker as that would make his job a lot easier?
The idea of the site is to demonstrate your opinion, whether you decide that's negative or positive is a matter of opinion?
So your back to wether you want to Express an opion.
What I have noted since I said about thumbs down is that we have far more posters than we had before, instead of being lazy and just reading your getting involved and that's what we want, we won't all agree but all that matters is we are forest.
It's good to talk and glad you have taken the time to post along with many others.

I don’t misunderstand anything, we are all different with different opinions. My outlook is the structure of the club has been set up by the owner whether he’s right or wrong there’s very little or anything I can do about it to coin a phrase “It is what it is†no amount of moaning is going to change it. Yes this approach hasn’t delivered in the past but hopefully the manager buys into it and does his best instead of sulking and loosing focus. Its very early in the season of course but for me the signs are good. Hopefully Sabri isn’t feeling sorry for himself which I doubt he is and gets the best out the players.
