Cooper name was chanted by the Forest fans last night, who despite being 4 . A
few thousand away supporters, who are likely to have watched Forest for > 10 yrs know Cooper is the man for the job. No booing, no early departure - why? They realise that Cooper is a great Coach and patently realises that there are major problems, that's why the side changes . Awoyoni has been given two starts and not changed my view about him. Dennis has had less game time Do fans on this site really think a new manager would motivate this group to play better and not be relegated ? If so they are living in cloud Cookoo land! Cooper needs to remain in charge whatever.

Yeah I do believe they would doc but that doesn’t mean I think he should be replaced either . The players have zero confidence and whilst they all want to succeed for him they’ve lost confidence in his ability to choose a team to compete with the opposition . They’ll love his coaching but he’s not getting the last bit right and they’ve lost confidence in his ability to put them to war and have a chance of winning - that’s why we get a monumental collapse as soon as we concede, once we lose a goal all belief goes with it . That’s how I’d see it mate .

Doc cooper is not a great coach. Not bad but not great. He trains and is responsible for that shambles. Just an example, our free kicks and corners are laughable, always have been. No shape no pattern no idea. When it comes to defending free kicks we are clueless. 3 times lastnight Maddison found vardy, who bent his run so easily and found himself completely free and had an effort on goal. Once might be forgiveable… we spend so much time in holding a high line ball watching. Surely cooper should have been working on different scenarios particularly at set pieces. Sorry unforgivable. Cooper picks the back line and in Lodi and Williams we are dreadful. I predicted a defeat lastnight as long as we went for it and looked as if we were a potential unit developing. The clubs fortunes are not all down to cooper but the team performance and selection is. We are getting worse not better and don’t think mangala niakhate etc are any better, different yes but I seen no improvement just laboured dross.
