This season Mr M has managed to bring in Edu, caused our most successful manager for over 20 years to become disaffected and sacked him after 23 days.
Then he brought in the hapless Postacoglau who, with no wins and sacked him after 39 days.
Now, Sean Dyche has been in charge for 74 days ( with much better results overall and some on here are calling for his removal…….
As Shakespeare wrote
“ When we are born, we cry that we are come
To this great stage of fools…. ”
If our owner had any sense, he should issue the following statement……
“ In view of my enormous errors of judgement in the appointment and recruitment of staff, advisors and players, I hereby announce that SD will remain as manager to the full term of his contract, even in the highly unlikely event of relegation. In the short term he will have the final say in incomings and outgoings and we will support him in his preferred options.
In the meantime I will continue to concentrate on expanding the capacity of the WFCG.
“Some good I mean to do in despite of my nature “
Ok, it’s more like ……
“We are such stuff as dreams are made on
And our little life is rounded with a sleep”
“Oh brave New World
That has such people in it”
But as besotted ( and powerless ) fans we can all dream can’t we?
Supporting Forest is both a blessing and a curse atm.

It's noticeable that our illustrious Manager who did so well for us (apart from the last dozen or so games apparently) is not going down well at West Ham. From what I read in some serious papers, his actions are seeing their squad fall apart.
Yes Postaflogu was not up to much but Nuno at Wolves, Forest and West Ham is perhaps not the Saint that some on here would lead us to believe.

Brave new world playing football straight from the Cretaceous period. ?.

Here goes Stokie with another "hey look at me I'm so intelligent " I'll quote Shakespeare, that'll fox em while I justify hanging onto Dyche because I made a fool if myself welcoming him and his lump and run squad to the club. This site is frequented by people who have watched football for 60 yrs plus in many cases and are quite capable of recognising perpetual failure and mediocrity which Dyche excels at.
Have your opion on Dyche by all means and watch him fail again but don't insult us with you self promoting alleged intelligence please.

Highly unlikely event of relegation.
Famous last words Stokey?
It's looking more like the latter unfortunately.
A win against West Ham is a must, as we all know a win is needed, but a loss will bring Dyche into the realm of the Big Greek's wrath and unforgivable temper.
You're right about the poor signing and questionable character judgments regarding Edu and Nuno.
I have a question for all of you: Marinakis hasn't yet felt the consequences of relegation. If this were to happen, how do you think he would react? Would he abandon us and throw his toys out of the pram, or would he finally admit the mistakes?

He won't abandon ship, it will set his ambitions back a bit though imo
To me we need 36 points, so the games we must get points from is
West ham a
Wolves h
Burnley h
Fulham h
Palace h
Bournemouth h
And anything else a bonus
That should be achievable and very disappointing if it's not.

Well, seeing as you raise the point Larry Balloons, I would never arrogantly self promote my “alleged intelligence”. I just use Shakespeare and other authors because they express universal truths and wise perceptions about life and human nature. After all, I’d define art as describing what it is to be human. That includes all human activities including sport. As Albert Camus said “Football is life”. He would know he played for Algeria as a goalkeeper.
A pure statement of fact here, done in all humility, but I do have 15 O levels ( 12 GCEs and 3 CSE grade 1s) 4 A levels and an Honours degree in English Literature.
That makes me no better or worse than anyone else on here but affects how I put my opinions across.
I have followed Forest for only 50 years and led a sheltered bookish life with my Dad from Radford and my Mum from the Meadows, I was brought up in Radford, Bestwood ( estate not the village) and Bulwell and did 30 years of front line policing in the peaceful and crime free hamlet of Nottingham.
I generally think it’s best not to make assumptions about people ….

“Famous last words” Ripley? We ll see mate. Time will tell. ……but I will say SD has a great, virtually unsurpassed record in situations where the odds are against him. In Forests case by a generous but meddling owner who has caused the club untold problems and made us a laughing stock.
05 Jan 2026 11:44:08
I nearly got to the end of you post stokie but unfortunately slipped into a coma halfway through ?.
05 Jan 2026 12:25:54
Not many clubs go through 3 coaches in a season but we could get through 5 at this rate as the owner (s) don't seem to know what they are doing.
05 Jan 2026 12:45:16
A coma? How could anyone tell my dear old thing? ???.

Only time will tell how Dyche will handle this situation. Regarding his past record on similar matters, it's important to note that the upcoming match against West Ham is crucial and requires a victory.
Along with him, the players he chooses need to step up and demonstrate their true grit.
