Not said much about Thursday because i was pi**ed right off with some of the comments on here. I thought we played well especially in the first half, unfortunately i think we ran out of steam. a lot of the lads were starting for the first time or almost. People have been complaining about not seeing certain ones getting game time, rotation is going to be key if we wanna kick on in the league. MGW shouldn't be on penalties either way, remember him giving it to Jesus vs Porto because he knew he was lucky with his first.
We controlled the game for the most part against a seasoned European campaigner.
Think Sunday is literally groundhog day for us, we have to do everything and anything to bank three points. Play and fight dirty if necessary.
A few of the key lads have had a full weeks rest and should be charged and ready for war.
COYR ?.

Dyche did the right thing resting players winter
End of the day Victor had only one save to make
Sturm where the hone side abd we bossed the game, but you have to score from a penalty?
Yates and Dominguez where unlucky
Thing is when your on top you have to take those chances.

Well winter my friend, I disagree. Players with heads up arses for me. Either nonchalant or no desire, that's me being kind young man. I could say no skill. But I know they have it. Guy Fawkes couldn't put a rocket up their wronguns. Just my opinion. IN FACT i'm LIVID, with the state of play.

Honestly DTP and Bowie, i'm pretty damn pi**ed myself at the state of play atm.
But and i say but look at the state of play through the microscope of a footballers mind (limited i agree having played 350 plus non games myself)
Three managers so far, three different philosophies, extremely limited pre season as a group (influx of players late in the window) , injuries to at least two of our most influential players, Aina and Dominguez, then you throw in a basic essential, match fitness, i don't care what everyone says. Match fitness is a thing and you can't get anything like it from training games and even running around like a headless chicken on the training ground. Then you throw in mixing a new group with a bunch of guys who are tried and tested together and expecting them to gel instantly is a f**king joke.
Im not one to point blame or fingers but i really do think the uncertainty of which competition we would be competing in made a difference in our transfer policy, maybe we should have aimed it towards the conference league and settled with the players who wanted to complete in that rather than going for the more expensive options. Yes we made the Europa league in the end but heyho wouldn't the players that reached for the smaller competition be playing out of their skins now to prove the point?
Jesus that's a lot of merlot feed bull??
Love ya both btw ?.

And heres a random idea I've had that actually works on footy manager I'd love to see deployed vs leeds on Sunday.
Play Ando in the number six position, in front of him put Yates and Sangare literally as ball winners and protectors, Andos passing range and energy would literally let him control the game, whoever is playing wide up top, let them play level with the central forward. ?.

I don't know what match you was watching winter We were playing the equivalent of Burton Albion and hardly laid a glove on them.
Yes we are playing really well, 2nd from the bottom of the Premier with nearly a third of the season gone and can't buy a win in the Mickey Mouse European Cup.
Shambles and all self inflicted but apparently you can't analyse your teams performance without being called disloyal or a Ram. Your supposed to sit there happy clapping total dross.

Fair Comment's Larry. ??
Personally the Europa League isn't important.
The Premier League should be priority.
The player's have lost confidence with what's happened and need to find themselves again.
A good team doesn't go sour overnight.
A win tomorrow will be the boost everyone needs.

Sturm Graz are the equivalent of Burton Albion Larry? Agree, upper mid Championship but not as bad as you make out. Well organized, up for it and lucky ( a bit like Swansea except that they beat us …. )

The build up play against Graz was great then it goes to pot around the box, players inter passing instead of just giving it a crack ?, oh for a Stan Coolymore type player today.
