Some people - not necessarily on here - tore me a new a-hole when I stated that we will be lucky now to keep our ECL position; the fact we have lost our last two game would have buoyed the chasing pack to go all out to get a result. And so it seems to be exactly as I said. Man City have hit a great run of form. Villa are going great guns, as are Newcastle. We now find ourselves in 5th spot, on the same points as Villa, albeit a game in hand. Things are really looking dire, and, although Spurs are not doing particularly well, we could very well end up losing that game too, if we play like we have in the last two games. Some will moan and point to the fact we only just lost those. doesn't matter, we lost. I am really fearful of our place. Don't get me wrong, it's been a season out of this world for us. but I would still be sad to miss out.

It's in our hands Chim we win our games and we qualify, if we don't amass enough points we don't qualify. If that's the case then we just wasn't good enough. Simple.
Just look at the last two seasons tables and smile. Its only a game, if you've got you health smile again. Get Nuno on a new contract, sign better players and go again. That's football ?.

I can remember you tearing a hole in Nuno when he took over. you will get over it we have a 8 point gap to lose any chance of European football I think everyone on here will be gutted if we don't make any European football this season but it's way to early yet to be thinking that way. but what a season it has been ?.

Said exactly the same a few months ago Chim. I said then that the chasing pack would catch us up with the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle taking the Champions League places. Especially after we didn’t bring in a striker in January. The fore mentioned teams are just too strong in squad depth and have like for like quality to bring in or off the bench when they have injuries. Unfortunately, we are not at that stage at the moment. The proof is in the pudding, take out a few of our key players and jenga tower starts to wobble. However, we are not out of it yet though my friends, as Balloons rightly says, it’s in our hands still. We have an okay run in which should go in our favour. Get the bits of the jigsaw back in place and let’s see what we’ve got. Starting at Spurs on Monday. Come On Yoooou Redz. ?⚪️⚽️.

I'd rather have us win the FA cup than qualify for the Europa cup, Thursday nights playing away in some god for saken places. And it seems to effect your league form like man Utd and spurs who will be playing Bode Glint who are 126 miles from the Artic circle, supporters would have to have the mindset of Bear Grylls or Ray Mears to go away!.

2 wins and a draw out of last 6 games and we right in the mix for CL spot, all our games are winnable if we turn up and play with the confidence we have shown before.

I’m very worried that Skegs and Balloons posts have been hacked or they are being held captive and made to put eminently wise, sensible and pragmatic words just now! ??? ( Only joking lads). I agree, what will be, will be and whatever happens we will go again next season stronger and reinforced under Nuno, a superb manager.
By the way Chim, mate, I believe we WILL be playing Champions League football next season. Still 18 points to play for and there will be loads of twists and turns before then. There you go, another Stokey prediction and my colours are firmly nailed to the mast. ??.

To be honest Skegs, if we get in Europa cup and progress, we will definitely be near the bottom of the Premier for sure.

In that case mate what's point in being in premier league your in that league to try and get to the next level which is European football we might as well stayed in championship and I'm guessing villa fans were thinking the same things a few seasons back to get a better budget and better players you need European football if not like I said what's the point.
