If we are potentially falling foul of FFP again this year, do you think we would only get 2 point deduction as per Everton as we have already been punished for 2 of last 3 years!
If so do you think Mr M will take the risk and not sell any of big names before June 30th?

If grabban goes in January, possible replacement in shankland who we have been interested in. Personally think he would be a good addition if he is not overpriced. Not sure of others would be available in jan to replace grabban?

Remember Cummings? He was scoring goals regular in the Scottish Championship until he played in a decent league with a decent standard of football. The Scottish Championship is English League Two standard at best.

Mckenna is looking a good signing and judging by the Scottish national team things are getting better with Scottish football.
One thing when you buy from Scotland it doesn't break the bank so if it doesn't work out it hasn't cost millions.

Personally I don't think it matters what league the players come from it's down to the player how hungry they are and if they are willing to put the graft in.

I don't think you can sign Shankland as a replacement for Grabban. That would be too risky as Shankland is unproven. You're only going to replace Grabban with another proven Championship striker.

Who is there available at the moment who would come as backup to Taylor for little money? Shankland is a far better prospect than Cummings as he has more to his game as he can play out wide as well as through the middle. He would be a suitable player to push Taylor and maybe even can play alongside, think it is worth a shot if not overpriced.

Expect a tight game tonight, hopefully grabban if he picked which I don't think he should be personally but hopefully he will get back to being grab-one and a 2-0 victory to the reds will be great, I would take 7 points from the 3 games as a very good start for the manager. Though I do think if forest win another derby day sacking could be on the cards as Mel has given his support to coco this week and we know exactly what that means in football!

Oumar Gonzales looks like forest trying to do some early transfer business, looks like a good deal to me, ideal cover for worrall/ figs won't cost a great deal and young and ambitious hopefully another lower league gem.

See lazy journalists on forest case this week, apparently James macatee and Harvey Elliott ruling out moves to forest.
Personally think both are overrated they are luxury players that mcity and Lpool can have in the squad and they are willing to let them leave.
With current squad we have they would be bench warmers at the CG as well. If MGW goes hoping we are looking at better targets than these 2.

The one rumour that worries me is the part ex deals with City rejects for MGW, McAtee doesn't look up to much from what I've seen of him (admittedly only highlights) and Grealish is on 300k plus a week.
Unless we could get Grealish on an extended 2 year loan with City paying at least half of his wages I'd demand 75mill plus for MGW, city will be getting desperate due to the German lad Wirtz going Liverpool or Madrid. ?.

I don't think nuno's job is in any danger currently. He has a better squad than he did last year as he actually got options now. He will get some things right but he will also get things wrong, so I see us finishing 14-15.
We get 3pts from next 3 games would be OK.
For Liverpool would go with a 4-3-2-1 to give us that bit extra in midfield. Get a draw there and would be happy. Brighton and Fulham are both winnable games if get tactics and substitutions right.

We over achieved last year, with all the players playing well, as seen at the end of the season just didn't have enough options. As much as I would like elanga to stay, we are most likely always going to have to sell a player for big money to keep building a better squad with more options. I thought we would be 12-14th last year, am hoping we can finish in top 10 this year.

Was surprised when they bought Toffollo in, hasn't let us down and been instrumental in building the team togetherness. Forest could offer him a new contract but would if thought they would of done that by now if they intended to keep him as backup lb or backup cb on the left of 3 man defence. But I think Harry will want to be playing regular for next couple of years so may well end up at a club in championship next year, so all the best Harry and we need to find someone better than williams to push Williams to get better.

Red, I agree with what you say, earlier in the season, nuno wasn't afraid to rotate the fringe players and give them outings, once the pressure was on I think he has become to fearful. How he thinks dominguez is more of a heal threat than jota I don't know, jota would of scored at least one of the chances doninguez got. Also we have had more clean sheets with dominguez and Anderson in midfield and then bringing on 3rd central defender to close out games, instead he bought on Yates in the middle with sangare both not very quick and leicester took advantage. Was a game should off one and I can understand the chairman's frustration with the ending and the ridiculous situation with not subbing awonyi who clearly didn't want to come back on after clattering the post. Disappointing but it not over yet. Coyr.
