Well it looks like Engels is off to West Ham for less than what we offered back in January. Why was he not a target this time and if he was why did we lose out to West Ham? I don’t believe we will shell out the 50 or 60 million it would take for Bergvall or the now Middle East-bound Reijnders.

Things are moving very slowly again and, as predicted, Og in the press this week saying we won’t be ready. Sound familiar?

I guess West Ham didn't want to sell him to a relegation rival at the time, Daz.
As far as getting him this time round, it's a case of low "Marx" to our recruitment team.

He probably wanted to start regularly. Maybe he knew he wouldn't be first choice at Forest? Maybe, we are in advanced negotiations with Fofana?

O'Neil stopped the reansdwr as he has a problem with Maranakis sacking him. He seemed a desperate signing back then. I think the reality is that he's a Championship-level player, that's why we've not gone back in for him.

But, in all seriousness, from what I know, a German lad who originally came over to Swansea did a few loans in the EFL. He's been in English football for several years, yet has never nailed down a no.1 spot. Doesn't exactly excite. 🌳

The Solanke rumours might be true. We do need a big number 9 type for Glasner's system. He's an England international but old for a Forest signing.

Is he the player he used to be? I have no idea as barely seen him play for well over a year. Sounds like a massive risk unless they just want him off their wage bill.

Could be a good shout, he always did well against us playing for the Cherries. At least he's a proven goal scorer at prem level, although I think his time at Spurs has been blighted by injury. 🌳

If we do sign Bergvall, there is no way we'll be paying £60M up front. Spurs are dreaming if they think they will get £60M for a squad player and the same money they were prepared to pay for MGW. Jokers!

Great news I hear on the grapevine, thank you Mervin Gaye, is that Diamonde is having a medical at Forest Sunday/Monday.



Reindeer is now wanted by Villa and Newcastle, do Forest get a finder's fee for that one?

Hopefully the paperwork with go through without a hitch, so OG will be happier! Now let's see a quality midfielder, attacker and back up keeper through the door. Someone mentioned Pope, which is a great shout!

Very strong rumours (from The Athletic and Mr Romano) that Diomonde will be in the Sporting Squad today then fly to Nottm for a medical tomorrow prior to signing early next week for an agreed fee of £40 million.
