Troy Deeney BBC team of the week includes no Forest players. and the manager award went to Arteta. In thee comments even Liverpool fans cannot believe no Forest players selected. Perhaps If we had beaten them 5/ 0 we might of had a few players included!

Who cares, jou don't get any more points for it ?.

He’s not the brightest spark is he? Let’s keep under the radar, low profile and keep quietly knocking over the giants.

What a weekend!, saw that Cooperman, although Deeny was a guest at Brighton's game, looked at Liverpool Banter, one player getting respect on there is Ryan Yates?, what a game he had and managed a F- Bomb on Australia T V. The squad have set a standard let's hope Nuno keeps it going. UREDS.

Vespa mate to paraphrase the Great Man’s words
“ I’m not saying that Yates is the best player in the world for getting up the oppositions noses but he’s definately in the top one! ????.

Balloons it does matter, it shows a lack of respect for us as a club,

Perhaps it was just me that missed this and it has been posted before here. regarding panel who judge ref/ VAR decisions. They are former England goalkeeper Robert Green; former England striker Karen Carney; former Republic of Ireland striker Jonathan Walters; his fellow former Ireland international Steven Reid, most recently a coach at Nottingham Forest; and former coach and Wimbledon manager Terry Burton. Source The Guardian 29th March 2024.we lost to Liverpool on 2nd March so seems strange Stephen Reid would be on that panel after his language against the officials!

This all sounds bizarre! Not sure of the timeline here but are we to believe that Stephen made judgements about his own involvement in contentious decisions as well as FA action against him? Did the FA twig?

Referee for Wolves V Luton is a confirmed Notts County fan. Hackett had all the allegiances and geographical allignment checked before appointments made for games. and then Webb and Riley took over and it has gone to pot. A few weeks back moaning by Birmingham City fans online saw a ref change for their game with Cardiff as ref was a relegation rivals Huddersfield fan. as I understand Birmingham did not contact PGMOL and online pressure alone got ref changed!

Fine margins. Wood shows the composure we know he does possess and makes it 2/ 1.Maddison gets sent off for punching Yates.2 different commentaries I saw on this incident. Sky citing that Yates should not ask for VAR check as yellow card offence. another assuming that Maddison would get sent off once VAR were checking it. MGW clearly tight hamstring but was Wood struggling with fitness and needed to be removed as a precaution?. Once Wood had gone off and Origi arrived I felt any chance we had was gone. People often say if the opposing teams are limited to taking shots outside of the area you are defending well. on another day Spurs would be fortunate to get 2 goals in this manner and an own goal of course. hopefully MGW is fine and we have no new injury issues which would be a positive after this game but cannot see any other positives from this encounter.

Interesting comparison between the Championship this year and the final table for the season we got promoted. this year 4 teams have 2 points or more average whilst no team managed this in our promotion season. besides Ipswich gatecrashing the promotion party it seems we are going to see more of the same teams who get relegated returning the following season. it is likely we will see this season that a total in the high nineties to get promoted whilst Fulham and Bournemouth finished with 90 and 88 in 2021/ 22. season.

Would like to see Ipswich promoted, and the play offs could go anyway, maybe a team like Coventry could gate crash. And I think at the end of season there going to change the parachute payments?.

Looking forward to seeing Manc Derby. but not happy the first half clashes with second half of Rangers Celtic final.

BBC states only one team voted against which surely can only be Wolves.

Totally agree. Leeds would surround the ref in the 70s to influence decisions. This intimidation was basically an attempt to cheat. Man City are refusing to accept the football authorities decision and taking them to court. clearly they face so many counts of cheating that they feel they must put money behind a legal challenge or face the penalties.
My point is that cheating has become more advanced from barracking the ref to legal challenges. the outcome of this challenge could set new precadents but hopefully a positive one. which would need to see Man City have the book thrown at them and therefore show that cheats will not prosper.

Great post and perfectly detailed. One point I would make. The BBC football website did not make any headline for the National League play off final between Bromley and Solihull. yet plenty of ramblings about the coach at Chelsea ladies team. the play off final was a great match filled with passion tension and a referee taking responsibility for decisions and who had a very good game. REAL FOOTBALL!

Cannot see any verification to the idea of jostling over 1 or 2 points but the generally agreed date for the appeal decision is early May. I find it hard to imagine it will not be announced before the weekend fixtures kick off. meaning announcement likely to be made before Luton and Everton kick off on Friday night. although they could potentially wait until Monday after they see how results go this weekend.
