glad to see Murphy and Cooper have resisted the greed of Millwall and Blackpool. We don't need to be ripped off by the likes of them, we have a decent team of happy players here. When you read what the new signing from Stoke says it just shows how times have changed. not so long ago nobody wanted to come to Forest. Now they do, so their clubs think okay and Forest got plenty of money we'll inflate the price.
One thing Forest have is an owner who understands football he already owned Olympiacos. When you look at some of the foreign owners background they have no idea.
Derby could well get one of these types as would anybody in their right mind buy a club with such massive debts and also 2 clubs taking proceedings against them.
I feel for the players, manager and supporters who cannot be blamed for the situation they are in.
A few years back we could have been in a similar place but we are now envied for our owner, manager and the positive play on the field COYR.

The Millwall manager has said we had offered not even 2m for Wallace for a player worth about 7m-10m once he signs a three year contract 2.5m to 3m would be a fair price. In the summer when Wallace is a free agent there will be more teams that want to sign him and some of those could pay bigger wages compared to us.

I'd rather have had Bowler than Wallace. Wallace is 27 and will see this next move as his big one. He'll want a fair wage and at 27 won't retain much sell-on value.
Bowler on the other hand, 22yo, likely on a lot less wages, still room for development and will retain a good sell-on value later down the line.
I'm not disppointed to miss out on Wallace but had hoped we might snare Bowler for a few mil.

Wallace ain't worth 2 million. He will be free in the summer and if he don't want to come sod him. i'm also big enough to admit Like most people on here who dont, I'd never even heard of him before all this kicked off.
But as soon as a player is mentioned and it could be nobody from the the Croatian 3rd division a certain element start shouting sign him, great player etc, like it's Messi.
Just move on he's nothing special just a championship winger 🎈.

Steve i think you are right about Bowler, however i think you are wrong about the sell on value of Wallace, if he continues to play well his value would risei know he plays in a different position to Grabban if he looks after himself like Grabban has he could be have another four to six seasons left in him.

You need some experience can't play with a team full of just youngsters.
As a free agent Wallace would be a great addition if we are still in the championship as Johnson will be gone.
