THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BANTER, TROLLING AND BULLYING! (Please eds, can this go in banter)
A few comments for the Forest Banter people. We have a few folks who don't post often now. The reasons are obvious.
Banter: The playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks.
Trolling: The act of leaving an insulting message on the internet in order to annoy someone. OR: The art of deliberately, cleverly, and secretly p1ssing people off, usually via the internet.
Bullying: The repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group.
OK folks. Not interested in accusing anyone directly. We all know (including the mods) that all three have happened on here. The banter is great fun, but there is a line. Once a group of you start to repeatedly bait or attack one person, it is definitely trolling and potentially crosses the line onto bullying.
Can we make this fun for everyone? If you want to go back to the playground, then have a look in the mirror.
We share a love of Forest and random chat about the team players and some banter. It shouldn't be a nightmare for only a few members.

Well said red cyclist……. respect to you for that post, deluded people don’t like alternative opinions to there own and tend to lash out and dictate to others, when there own opinions/ views are weak.

Many years, to many to remember and have tried to keep banter front and foremost. If I have caused any offence I humbly appolagise, I don't think there are intentional offenders on here just a little strong willed let's say.
70 plus years for me and the heart has never faded, sometimes fans I have met in the ground, a little bit of what you talking about, seen so much water pass under Trent bridge to bother me to much.

My point is that it is a BANTER (and footy rumours) site. It is not a trolling and/ or bullying site. Simple as that.
Don't see what posting about Samba has to do with the diff between bullying, trolling and banter, but there you go. The Eds do a good job of only editing out really nasty or out-there stuff. That can't stop the drip, drip of persistent posts that on their own are fine, but constantly directed at one or a few people, become trolling/ bullying. People just need to stop playground type behaviour, then the eds don't need to babysit them/ us.
I'd get it if it turned out to be Derby fans or 12 year old children. If it isn't then grow up.
Samba knew we were signing Henderson and Hennessey, so went where he knew he would be the king. The money became irrelevant at that point, as we weren't going to offer him loads if he wanted to be guaranteed number one.

Not trying to get Navas does seem a bit odd if Hendo isn't fit yet. Are there really loads of keepers better than Navas that we can afford? I seriously doubt it.
Should we keep Horvath until January? Esp if we do get a half-fit Hendo?
