Since the Forest comings and going's are a bit quiet
Bowie would you ever watch a Bowie tribute band?
And if so, have you any recommendations?
I was reluctant at first but have now
seen a few tribute bands of other groups and all of them were brilliant and created a great atmosphere.
If there's a good Bowie tribute I'd like to see them.

Morning wilf my friend, yes I've seen quite a few tribute bowies some a lot better than others. My daughter zowie also a massive fan so we use it as an excuse for a good catch up together. Or quality time. I myself was more into bowie in the early years, 69-76 ish, some tributes have a great guitarist i mean mick ronson and bowie for me in music is like clough / taylor to football. There really is some great tributes out there. Bootleg beatles are amazing wilf. Dunno if you've seen them but make an effort if there in your area. ?.

Wilf look up (absolute bowie tour) hopefully they will be next to you mate. You can get an idea of what there like on YouTube. Good luck i highly recommend them ? but there again I've seen the real thing many times. What a miss bless him.

An artist pure and simple.
The best tribute bands seem to have been fans of who they dedicate their act to.
For a great night out The ELO Experience are amazing.
Seen them in Hull two years running. Everyone up and bopping from the start.
The Illegal Eagles are brilliant.
I’ve heard of the bootleg Beatles so will give them a try.
I’ve seen some good young band too.
There’s a lot of talent out there.
They need our support.

Wilf little story mate, the best tribute i ever seen was at whitley bay spanish city, the dome. The tribute simon and garfunkel. Can't remember what they called themselves, let's say simon and carbuncle, anyway they came on. Now before i start, the acoustics in the dome are second to none. But garfunkel had a wig you couldn't sell on dragons den as a brillo mop. But they had there story from busking here, on film before they came on, projected on the walls. And how, garfunkels wife used to collect from her cap around areas. Just brilliant. Then they started singing. I swear, you know when you get them goosebumps, i ended up with a couple of tears strolling down. Love simons lyrics and simplicity. Hearfelt and true. legends.

Spanish City What a legendary place.
Sat in a restaurant upstairs donkeys years ago and by the end my head was spinning from watching the boy racers tearing round outside all night.
A Mad place, it’s all been done up recently I believe.
Oh and Notts gave us a football lesson again I hear.
