Bowie you’re one of the main reasons I started following this forum.
You’re not afraid to show a vulnerable side.
You don’t give any bullshit, you’re open, honest and like all Geordies passionate.
Some may take the openness and honesty as a weakness. I think the opposite.
I think you would be surprised just how many empathise with some of your posts.
Far too many men keep stuff bottled up, or hide their true feelings behind a mask of bravado.
I respect your feelings but would advise a little reflection. You’ll be missed my friend.
More than you obviously realise at the moment.
I worked in an environment where piss taking was compulsory. It was character building.
I’ve been called all the names under the sun.
On a personal level I honestly couldn’t give a monkey’s I do get upset however when people are put down by the use of throw away slurs, usually to marginalise or defame them ( the tactics of people with something to hide )
So take heart my friend I think your contributions on this forum are a vital part of why I think it’s one of the best football forums in the land.

Yes, you do wear your heart on your sleeve, which is a great quality. you say things, and make us realise how precious life is. it certainly has helped me since you came on here, appreciating those around us, and yes Balloon's, I think you did take his wise words, and made light of them, and I know you probably think it was a step too far, I think we should all move on now, and enjoy this superb summer, and as I keep telling ya!

Wilf again nobody as said anything wrong to Bowie if you went on the live chat you would of seen a lot worse said to each other and Bowie chose to be part of that every week and joined in the piss taking and banter obviously there's a lot more going on than the fact I joked about mackem to him so let him sort himself out and he will be back.

Skegsjay I just wanted Bowie to know he will be missed. We all have issues. Sometimes there’s a lot going on that we hide and now and again we react.
Bowie obviously reacted to something and said he was going to leave for a bit maybe more. I was just hoping he’d reflect and change his mind.
The comment about putting people down is a personal thing to me and it involves politics and people who are marginalised when telling the truth.
An extreme example JFK
Anyway, as Rogie rightly says, there’s a great Football club to talk about.
I still think Callum McGregor from Celtic would be a good shout. Pace vision and can score goals.
I don’t care about Scottish prem not being a good league, Gary Birtles proved you can step up from non league to be a European Cup winner.
