Henderson done deal would like to see Tyler Adams and Ngolo Kante added as well along with Beco or an equivalent top 20 goal striker

Calum Hudson-Adou would be a great addition as well if eventually over his Achilles injury

Need to sign back up keeper if Horvath goes to Luton

With Biancone Williams and Aurier we are ok at right back.

Johnson could go for 40 million yes or no 40 million a lot of money he's a great player but last season went missing in quite a few games who would we get to replace him ?.

06 Jun 2023 11:24:22
Might have someone already till the right one comes along Taylor, Scarpa Surrage Dennis if not then the Chelsea lad or Carvalio from Liverpool will Forest let Johnson go.

06 Jun 2023 12:24:35
Yes, if right money came in, and Scarpa readymade re-placment. An d I thought we played better without him, more chances went to other players!.

Johnson’s got to be worth £60m. If he goes Callum hudson odoi. Replace him.

06 Jun 2023 14:22:15
He'd be worth 60 million if bigger clubs like man City Liverpool etc not West ham Everton think 40 million a good price.

If Johnson were sold it shows a serious lack of ambition, his achievements in a maiden premier league season in a struggling team are remarkable. West Ham and Everton are not credible rumours. Until it’s newcastle, Liverpool etc it’s not even worth the air time.

Think back 2Stars how many balls was played to him and he sent over the bar, or a yard wide. He's what I call a gready player, never see's the pass. And his dad will have a big say in where he plays his football!.

06 Jun 2023 21:57:31
I agree with the Dad part but not criticism of him blimey mate, give him seasons or two before we expect perfection - btw once he reaches the standards you mention will be when his Dad is negotiating his move to Real Madrid. Johnson has been a revelation these last two seasons, if the edges you observe aren’t being smoothed next season I’d agree - he will good but at his level with us. If he improves on his current trajectory then the sky is the limit.
Without Johnson no promotion or survival, it’s that simple in my eyes.

06 Jun 2023 23:17:32
I'm on both sides it's great to keep players that could be world class but I'm not sure he his I also think sometimes we played better without him so did Cooper to bench him or maybe to get the best out of him every player as a price and the best time to sell him 40 million. For one premiership season not a bad shout.

I agree 2stars. Johnson's improvement over the last 3 seasons is phenomenon, 1 season lincoln, promotion in championship with us and survival in prem. In my opinion he was probably the only one of our "championship" team to hit the ground running in the prem. He was only "dropped" at the end as was clearly knacked having played through injury. If we sell him for £40 mil to one of our league rivals and replace him with a £10 mil player who can't get into Chelsea's squad, I think that will set out exactly what sort of team we club we are. One that is going backwards. We are blessed with a owner who doesn't need us to make a £30 mil profit from a player. I for one would want him in the side next season. Remember "he's one of our own! "

Hopefully we will keep him, definitely one for the future of the club, he needs regular service, great first season for him despite being in a team that struggled for long periods this season.

He isn't the finished article yet, but when he gets it right its fantastic, he's learning all the time and never seems over awed by anything.

As someone else mentioned, we are lucky to have an owner where we don't have to sell our best players and I think that will be the case with Johnson.

£40m is nowhere near enough for me. We'll be playing the same way next season. Just with a sprinkling of extra quality through the team. So if we're an 'on the break' side, the advantages of having the quickest player in the division are huge. Both when he's got the ball, and worrying teams when he hasn't. And he's improving game on game.
