Thought the ref was great lastnight and played the right amount of stoppage time, good to see. I thought phillipe was mom by a mile. We should endeavour to build a team around him whichever div we are in. Mgw still gives the ball away stupidly trying to bend passes with outside of foot.
Both penalties were a joke surridge made no contact and how can Johnson tackle from behind not get near the ball, impede a player trying to clear the ball and call it a foul. As for philipe his goal was outstanding and impossible to judge if offside. Lines don't tell when ball left foot and the margins are pathetic, just spoiling it all for the crowd and players. I think we'll need a point at palace.

Slow it down to 0.25 speed and it's as clear as day.

Can't see how Johnson's wasn't a penalty. Both players went for the ball at the same time, BJ split second quicker. He touches the ball, their player kicks his leg. Foul in the box, penalty. Their penalty, I couldn't see any contact what so ever but Surridge never complained so a strange one.

Even if there was contact, Football is a contact sport. It wasn't a foul, ergo not a penalty.

No if about it. There was contact and that type of contact is not allowed in the 18 yard box.
Agree it was soft but them are the rules.
