Ok, so managed to catch the game on the telly box. One thing stood out massively to me: we cannot defend set pieces. It was perhaps the most inept display of defending set pieces I have ever witnessed. We let Liverpool off the hook time and again, when all it would have taken to bang a nail in their hypothetical coffin was basic defending. It wasn't even up to school boy standard for the most part.
Any encouraging signs? Sure. Freuler coming off and being replaced was one.
MGW putting in a decent shift was another. Felipe continues to be solid. Johnson was decent when he came on.
But the jury is still out (going on this game) on the following:
Niakhate - never seems to clear his defensive lines properly.
Mangala - simply cannot pass a ball and gives it away far too cheaply.
Awoniyi - reminds me of a spider: all legs that he somehow seems to trip over all the time.
Navas - ok, makes some good saves, but I can't help thinking that his positioning is suspect and his passing out is not very accurate.
Surridge- yeah, believe it or not. Just seems to fall over all the time.
Williams - can't make my mind up if he has the quality we need.

Niakhate seems to slice everything away whether it be with head or foot.
His attempted headed clearance which led to the corner for the first goal was astonishing and I still can't understand how he managed to head it behind instead of forward from that position.
Regarding Mangala I think there is a good player in there but he does need to sharpen up his passing.
He carries the ball well and just lately has found himself some space on the edge of the opposition box.

More ridicule of the Nottingham Forest team and manager again………. what clever supporters you are most on here remind me of washer women, moan moan moan, it’s boring and predictable change the record, no wonder Downthepub did a bunk and most of you posters on here aren’t anywhere near as knowledgeable or as loyal of a supporter as that man.
If Forest win on Wednesday against Brighton then Nottingham Forest will be out of the bottom 3 (FACT) well at least until Thursday and probably until the weekend because I can’t see Everton beating or getting a draw against Newcastle at Goodson park, try discussing that and point instead.

Vicious I know mate makes you wonder if you’re actually on a forest site, did anyone really expect us to win today? I thought we gave a decent account of ourselves, could have nicked a point, and it was a world away from the majority of our away performances, but if scapegoating forest players makes some of you happy get on with it, I suppose while you’re ripping freuhler to shreds, at least you’re off the managers back for a bit,

You can't see Everton beating Newcastle but you think we might beat Brighton? Based on what exactly. Not won in about 11 games. Everton may well get relegated but we'll be going down with them. The Southampton game will probably determine who finishes bottom. I take no joy in this but let's be realistic. Negative tactics have cost us all season.

Redfred, I said DTP is a loyal supporter to Forest, I didn’t say DTP was a loyal supporter to Houghton so don’t put words in my mouth.
Many posters leave this site change there mind and come back which there aloud to do. …. and your point is?
DTP is not on this site anymore to defend himself so do the decent thing and stop slagging him off, it is well out of order leave the man alone and it’s a shame I haven’t heard your last post redfred.

Passtheball Forest just lost to a narrow one goal defeat at Anfield………. Liverpool are one of the best clubs in this country and probably in Europe……. Liverpool’s team is probably worth 20 times more than our team, so scoring 2 goals at anfield, hitting the bar and being very unlucky not to add to the 2 goals that we’d already scored tends to give me optimism about getting all three points at home to Brighton……not to mention the good results we’ve picked up at home throughout the season against leeds, Liverpool, West Ham, Man City, Chelsea and palace……. that’s what gives me hope for a win on Wednesday pretty realistic wouldn’t you say passtheball? your views are negative and pessimistic where as my views are positive and hopeful.

How is stating the fact that he's left and comeback on multiple occasions slagging him off?

Vicious you need to let it go mate and move on, you'll make yourself poorly. Your hero worship for DTP we get but as Red Fred says about the Houghton banner thing is true. People have different views on Cooper, we all want a successful Forest and we are not getting it so it's natural to try and analyse the problems and give you views.
We will all be here when Cooper has long gone and if DPT returns to the site or doesn't isn't important in the grand scheme of things.
Just chill buddy and put all the hate behind you and to reiterate was Ed said the other day nobody on here hates you buddy. ?.
