How can the club post losses of 25m.
We made bout 30m from player sales.
Sold record season tickets
Full house every home game
Best sponsorship ever signed.
Plus merchandise
Yeh we've spent on calvalho 13m. But that's in instalments
Would love someone in know to explain.

Fairly simple: we are still paying player's wages who never play a match, and we are still paying managers who have been sacked.

Im happy seeing where we are in the table,i will leave the owner to worry about such matters and i will concern myself only with my own bills.

Every championship club loses money before a ball is kicked each season, the outgoing money mostly wages exceeds any money that comes in, only player sales can balance things up a bit.
Season card sales while high are on the most part subsidised to attract a new generation of supporters.
At least our owners aren't breaking ffp rules.
Be interesting how villa get on when they get relegated pretty sure they must have broke ffp to get up.

The owners plan ain’t rocket science, if we don’t go up, he will sell cash and lolley, I said this on here last week but was called negative and fickle, lol.

03 Mar 2020 20:55:13
Or worrall and cash,

03 Mar 2020 21:10:23
More of a realist, Stevie - red red just get a calculator out and do a few sums yourself, see how many season tickets we need to sell to pay one of our top players wages for a week. Let alone other staffs salaries, ground maintenance Training facilities, medical bills etc
Losses are immense and they don’t include some costs in ffp accounts- it’s scary and makes you think why anyone would buy a club? And we want them to spend more and not sell anyone- it doesn’t add up mate.

03 Mar 2020 21:25:02
He will probably just sell Worrall as that would net a good amount of money without completely destroying the balance of the team. Just a hunch but that is what I reckon.

03 Mar 2020 21:28:51
Your saying nothing wrong stevie if we don't go up some players will want to leave anyway, that's football.

03 Mar 2020 21:38:53
2tone there’s an old joke in the horse racing game, question ‘ how do you make a small fortune owning racehorses’ answer ‘ start with a large one’! Much the same owning a football club I guess,

03 Mar 2020 22:09:59
Well 2 tone your right just think of the outlay the club spends rates all of the non playing staff then the playing staff acadamys upkeep stewards on matchdays police must run into thousands per week.

03 Mar 2020 22:27:44
Most clubs lose money, even some premier ones . Once in the promised land the wages the losses just as huge because the outlay is massive - it’s all relative .

04 Mar 2020 11:39:12
Stevie F with some incredible insight - 'If we need money, we'll probably have to sell players' - Crikey, you must have a crystal ball to see something as wildly speculative as that.

Of course players could leave, that's football. And unfortunately no one's going to give us £20m for Hefele, so it's probably going to be Cash/ Lolley/ Worral etc.

04 Mar 2020 12:48:10
Sswe yeah genius aren’t I? don’t know what that makes some on here who Called me ‘ negative ‘ for pointing out the blindingly obvious then, when I said it was a financial fact of life, oh yeah and I was called ‘fickle, ’ don’t know who you are quoting by the way, that obvious statement doesn’t appear in any of my posts, and like I said it’s not rocket science,
