All doom and gloom, think some here actually love it. Stay away from the razor blades this evening please. Yes yesterday was terrible and performances of late have been uninspiring.

But take a step back and look around at those above us in the league. Remember we are still relative new comers to the Premier league and the main stays have been building squads for years even decades. We need a squad of at least 22 decent players to be able to compete in League, Cup and Europe. 2 players for each position as all of the usual big six sides and the other usual suspects who qualify for Europe.

The schedule in football these days has become absolutely rediculous, League, Europe, League Cup, FA Cup and International. I honestly think Europe came to early for us and we are now paying the price. Games every few days and injuries have taken their toll. I lot of you forget we didn't even qualify for the Europa League, we should be playing in the Young Farmers Continental Cup.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, last season was a freak. The luck was with us in the injury department, Woody was on fire, Sels became Superman and Spurs n Utd flopped big time. Both of them had their worst seasons in a century. As expected both above us now.

Going back to the players, they need a break/ rest, European footy has really really hurt us, luckily the group stage is almost over. Hopefully in the next few weeks we can start getting players who have been missed back on the training ground and ultimately the pitch.

We need to drag ourselves through the next couple of weeks then concentrate on getting back on track in the league. Just think before slagging players off for zero effort when they are actually burnt out.

So please, stay away from the bathroom cabinets and continue supporting our lads.

*i think a lot of you forget* opps almost got it all right lol. Just saying it as it is DTP. Expectations from a lot of our fanbase is unrealistic. With the squad, stadium and facilities available to the management team we are bottom half at best. ?.

We overachieved last season and got lucky with injuries
Great season though
Newcastle and villa paid for it getting to Europe to fast, but have come through it, so why shouldn't we.

It was unrealistic last season but we did it. its unrealistic for Sunderland this season but there doing it. its unrealistic that Liverpool with all there money and great players and stadium that there crap. teamwork being together and a good manager gets you far. never mind about about what players you have in a squad just saying.

Thinking further, I'd say there's one person to lay a lot of the blame on and as much as it pains me to say as i love the guy, its Nuno. His self implosion never did the players any favours, Ange was a mistake then Dyche is left to pick up the pieces. All this blame on Mr M and Edu is actually hilarious, as far as i'm concerned they made two mistakes, giving Nuno a new bumper contract and hiring Ange.

All this blame on signings. Look at the other big name signings who have adapted to the Premier league instantly this season from abroad. Oh hang on, i think there might be one or two. The French forward at Liverpool being one (not bothering to try and spell his names after this many panda pops today) United, Liverpool, Arsenals new forward. The lads from abroad take time unfortunately and players with Premier experience cost a premium. Best signing for big money this season, imo Eze but where did he come from?

Get with the programme Gentlemen and get behind our players, management and board.
