Just watching bbc4 here, Muhammad Ali. Just reminding my goodself, how lucky I have been. To grow up with such an amazing athlete. For me without doubt, best ever. Strange thing as ya age. You well up with pride.
Also the Beatles, again, just know band will ever touch them.
Clough/ taylor best ever duo in football. So much passion and heart.
Yet my yank wife, kids, grandkids. And friends. Seem to pull the same strength.
Enjoy the weekend in front reds. Remember, respect and love them around ya. Never take them for granted. FTID.

Life Bowie
So much has happened in my life span and yours
From having nothing and coming from a council estate but living every minute cus we knew nothing else
A great upbringing and a great experience when you could ride a bike without seeing a car and your parents could let you go out without to much worry
Enjoyed the ride tbh
From black and white tv to the Internet in our lifetime?
Who would of thought that possible back in the day?
I feel privileged to have been born in the security of no war and had the chance through technology and hard work on my part to see the world and enjoy it

Stevie, they say it's a small World, I'm surprised over the years in work or pubs, and you start a conversation with someone new and you find out where there from, and you both have someone you know, I came of a council estate and loved my time growing up, it was very tough but safe!. And the school I went to was fantastic and the teachers did there very best, but expectations was low, I saw a former pupil at Collins Cash and Carry on the tills, and I said to her "Bloody hell you've done well me'duck", and she said "I have I've got a static caravan "?.

Good times that have changed so much
The clifton bridge area and Lenton lane with just ponds and green land fo miles
A power station and a pit next door and pubs everywhere making a living without the need to sell food
Meeting places that have been lost through tv and Internet
Quality of life was so much better as you made your own entertainment
But we move on and I won't dwell or get grumpy about it, got grandkids born in a different world to the one I grew up in, so have to grow with them
Just have to enjoy and accept, but never forget my memories and a great experience growing up.
