Anybody going to Chesterfield today? I'm still scratching my head trying to work out why Monaco, a Champions League team based in the beautiful French Riviera would come to Brum for pre season? ??
Anyway, they are further down the fitness road than us, having played Cerce Bruges, ( Belgian League relegation play offs last season, Monaco beat them 1 nil despite Bruge having 10 men for 65 mins! Konate was sent off for 2 yellows in a friendly? ) and Coventry who they beat 5 nil.
Still, a run out for the first time for our late comers like Sels, Woody, Malenkovic etc and perhaps a peep at Jesus and Cunha?
