Morning comrades
I've finally caught up with myself after my cruise then 2 weeks jury service. I've never known such a busy end of season personally and so little transfer wise.
A belated but warm welcome to Red Lyon, welcome to the site mate! ??????.

Just had a look at the terms and conditions set by the city council for the approval of the new stand. 3 mil is a bit heavy, I think the council have had Mr Ms pants down, especially contributing to improving the road junction on London road and the cattle market. but I just don't understand why forest have to pay for improvements for cyclists, all that will do is put more lycra louts out on the streets, if they paid some sort of road tax then fair enough. I don't remember Trent bridge paying any infrastructure when their ground was redeveloped, but then that was cricket.

Don't knock cricket Vale mate, I love it.
Cyclists however, I'm with you there. Tax em, make em have proper insurance, lights and a legally roadworthy bike and that money can be used for cycle lanes. Rant over. I thank yo!

Be great to hear Rod sing Sailing at the weekend Stokie ??.

Not knocking cricket I love it, England were unbelievable again India. I just think what's good for the goose is good for the Gander. All in it looks like a 3 year project! Everton build a new stadium in that time. I might be wrong perhaps Trent bridge did contribute to to the area but I didn't hear or read about it. So just makes you wonder.

Hi Carlo, how’s it going?
I heard Rod sing “ Sailing” at the Britannia Stadium Stoke in June 2014 whilst kicking footballs into the crowd without missing a beat! Great show! I remember him chatting to the audience about the forthcoming Italy ( who he described as “ageing “) against England in the Euros ( which we lost to the only goal I ever saw Barotelli score).
Red Vale, mate, I don’t think Mr M has had his pants pulled down. The extra costs you refer to are merely sweeteners and are peanuts to the Big Man ( plus add nothing to FFP). He knows what he’s doing imo ??.

I was at the very same concert, should have seen him in Vegas but he had to cancel at last minute so the Stoke tickets were replacements, not a big Rod fan but it was a great night.

Carlo, so near and so far. Strange to think our paths nearly crossed 11 years before we met at the TBI mate.

Let's hope so stokeyred, glad you had a good holiday, not sure if I could sit on a jury for two weeks I think it would send me over the edge. I hope the Crims got their just punishment.

There’s a lot of sitting around Vale mate but overall I was very impressed with the system at Court and the first time I’ve ever been on a jury was fascinating.
I like the fact that we bend over backwards to ensure fair play. For example, the first trial I was on was aborted early to be on the safe side because one of our jurors had done some work for the prosecution barristers brother!
Justice was done with a guilty verdict in the second trial.

Think most cyclists have a car aswell and pay road tax, not that gies to highways anymore and electric vehicles and hybrid cars may nothing or very little anyway
It's the I won't use public transport brigade that are the problem red Vale and have to leave the ground on 80 mins because it's more important to get home fast than watching their team till the game ends that are the real problem
It cost more to park your car anywhere near the city ground , so why do it?
