Id just like to give a shout out to BRIAN ROY and FRANK CLARK. Chris wood just about to take over roys record for scoring goals in the premier. Frank clark pulled off an amazing sting bringing him here. Both for me reds are so close to my heart as legends. I well up at times with pride. Two gents bringing so much to the WFCG. Records may go but never forgotten.

ImI met Frank Clark and his lovely wife on holiday in Corfu earlier this year Bowie. Nice bloke, reserved and left most of the chatting to his wife. I was thrilled to meet one of my all time heroes! ??.

those kind of signings will return mate, the reality is we have already made some as good, more will come.
This is thanks to an owner we could have only dreamt of getting. We needed an owner who could see the history could be the building blocks of a global brand, if it could be made successful again, the reality is our success came in the wrong era, but it can never be erased and if we can be a success again - in some way, it’s going to create a hell of a story.
As clubs have been acquired over the years I’ve often wondered why no one has seen the potential that forest’s history brings, I guess that’s why this man is successful because he sees opportunities others don’t.
Coupled with that his is commitment., refusal to be bullied by the establishment and a never give in mantra that drives him through life.
We should never underestimate how lucky we are to have this guy as not many others would have the vision to see what it could actually become, where would we be without this guy?

Ps I’m not talking abut success allied to what clough achieved but being a stable prem team, that is a very difficult thing to achieve but in doing that, I think our previous achievements get life breathed into them. Domestic cup success is achievable though in time. I think replicating clough’s achievements is unlikely but supporters should always dream shouldn’t they?
