Ok, that was totally predictable. And I mean TOTALLY. I watched the game on the box, and yeah, in the first 3 minutes we were good. and that was pretty much it (other than the last 10mins). We were abysmal.
Aina had perhaps the worst game I've seen him play; he was constantly beaten.
Woods, he's a player I really try to support and like. but I give in. We are pretty much playing with 10 men when he plays. he offers next to nothing.
I am not sure what Cooper is trying to in-still into these players, but honestly, I've never seen a team play so lackadaisical in our passing; everything is rushed, leading to mistake after mistake. We should be playing with pace. The legend that is Birtles said we look so off the pace compared to Brighton, who were harrying and constantly at us. I watched for a time Brighton's play compared to our play: he was right, we wanted to take two or three touches compared to their slick passing. And when we did pass it, we rushed it, and gave it away.

I really don't know where Cooper goes from here, as today's performance, like others of late, was very disappointing. I wouldn't be overly upset now if Mr M booted him. I mean, look at the players we have; they are a very good team on paper. But Cooper has us playing this damned awful sitting back game, when we take the lead. That's like hitting a hard boiled egg shell over and over, with increasing pressure; eventually it cracks. And that's exactly what we keep doing; cracking.
We deserve better as fans, and I truly believe this squad can deliver better. just not with Cooper in charge. Bring on the 'ok, so who would you have managing us then' comments. That, I do not know, but like the number 41 NCT bus reaching Noble Road in Clifton, we too have reached our terminus with Cooper.
