Disappointed that sam didn’t make the step up to premiership level, but probably better for him and the club to move on……. sad though as he seemed a genuine lad wanting to make a name for himself at Forest……still I wish him well.
We only become a selling club if we sell to the big top 6 as some put it……. but how are we going to become a top 6 club again if we keep selling our best players? Imo we stand still and just tread water……Johnson, MGW, are players we need to build a team around there’s plenty of other players we can sell to balance the books isn’t there?

Exactly Bowie……. we as a club are just as capable as any of the so called big 6 are at getting into Europe.
Brian clough proved that anything is possible and with Steve cooper as manager, I think we have a good chance at getting back into Europe, which is why selling johno would be a massive mistake and I’m sure cooper knows this.

Different times, era's n £££ lads.
Remember when we came up from champ bout 93ish finished 3rd got in uefa Cup, I went auxerre n lyon n bayern away smashed us 5 1 at home though.
Unfortunately the above will not ever be done again, its just like a cartel, with the occasional interloper.
Our hopes for the foreseeable will be staying up n decent cup runs and I'll be fully behind em on both counts.

Nottingham Forest Football Club means a lot more to me than money players and the manager……. it represents my dad and my connection and priceless memories with him, the club also represents friendship and without NFFC i would have never have made or met such a great friend in Bowie and other good lads that I’ve met through the club and off this brilliant forum………which I thank both whole heartedly.
I mean come on how much money does one person need to have a relatively happy life and existence?
If you have honesty, health, respect and friendship, then I consider you to be a wealthy individual……. there’s more to life than just money and never lose site of that. PUNKS NOT DEAD. and will never will be while greed, lies and corruption rain’s supreme on this planet.
