Missed this bit from my last post.
Another fantastic game of football against Luton in the final. We were 2.0 up and cruising. We could smell a 6.0 victory here when Roy Dwight broke his leg midway through the first half. No subs in those days so we had to hang on to win. Good fans in those days. A friend of mine and I had a final ticket each but miles apart in the ground. My boss heard about this and arranged with a business friend in Sheffield to swap the tickets as he was giving them to 2 people who were unknown to each other We got to Wembley and we were smack in the middle of the Luton fans behind the goal where all 3 goals were scored. We got pats on the back from all the hatters fans when the final whistle blew. Not sure what we would get today!

The 67 Everton game, ISM Hat Trick, even better atmosphere than now, jammed in like Sardines, on the score board before each game.

In the trentend that day, lost my shoe when we surged forward walked all the way down Arkwright street with one shoe and on the bus home I liked those shoes. Mother won't be happy.
