Does anybody else feel like there is a lack of a connection between the players and the fans in fact even between the players and the club. Last season for the first time in a long time the connection was unbelievable everybody riding the same train. Its what took the CG and our incredible fans to a new level. This season the fans have continued that world beating atmosphere but there feels something is missing from the squad.

I think in part it was due to us having a very consistent squad last season, very few changes / injuries. This season unfortunately has been the opposite.

Too many players signed in a very short period of time to keep going what we had last season going. Coming home to roost now.

Should have bought all the loans and added a few.
That team would have stayed up, incredible team spirit.
But now we will never know. Another super sonic clanger from Cooper. And yes they would have all signed for the right contract and cost countless millions less than this bunch of hapless clowns ?.

It was there, but now it’s gone. I don’t know why, it’s a shame but predictable. I know everyone got very angry about the pundits opinion on how the club went about it’s business but I’m genuine when I say, I always felt they’d be proved right is deep down they echoed my own negative thoughts. Positive thinking is the best option in life but most of us have a darker side to put thoughts, some people are better than others at suppressing those thoughts with positive ones.
When City spent their fortunes and Chelsea yiu just knew it wouldn’t fail, when you all saw the players we were signing I wasn’t convinced by many of them - it felt like more of championship winning side we’d built.
Perhaps someone else would have got more from the players we’ve signed, I’m not sure and quite rightly our fans would have been angry if cooper was changer before being given a chance.
I’m not sure how we break this losing mentality now though, will we break it if we are relegated? It’s feeling very hard wired now.
Somehow we need to get more of the ball and create more chances, we’ve got it in us for sure, I think cooper has lost confidence in himself as well, it’s a big problem when a boss loses confidence in his thought process, I think if cooper could find his mojo again we’d do better and that connection would return.

We will never know red balloons but of those loan players none have gone on to bigger and better things.

I've been saying that over and over again 2star giving away to much possession we don't press enough we lose the ball get back in there and fight for it there's no team spirit and when the other team scores players look at each other for the blame totally different team to last season and I know we're in premiership I mean they all look like a bunch of strangers to each other and Cooper use to be able to change a game with a couple of subs if need be he can't even change is grim look at the minute come on show us some passion and if we lose we lose just go out fighting.
