Morning people, back for a short time, by special request, mine. See things never change on here, having a go at one another, one click having a go at the other klick, I suppose it makes the world go round, although it gets a bit childish at times, after all, at the end of the day, you lot and myself all want the same thing, a good entertaining, honest 100%giving football team being we'll run and managed.
I personally think we have most of that in place, the thing is everyone involved from players all the way through the club are all novice's at premiership football and are all learning game on game, we can all see we made mistakes with the buying of some players ( not good enough ) etc, we can all see that the manager has got it wrong at times ie as with bringing Worrell on yesterday with over 20 mins to go, and there have been others, is it a learning curve, I hope so.
As for the struggle on the pitch, as quite a few of you have stated it is going to go to the wire.
In my mind luck will play a major part in the outcome. WE are NOT a GOOD enough team to win enough points to decide it, on form at the moment we only have Southampton at home that we maybe able to beat, but I wouldn't bet on that, as for our away form, enough said just look at the goals column.
Do we seem to be battling our way out of its, as others seem to be trying to do, ie Southampton, Bournemouth, NO. I don't blame the manager for that either has again in my opinion apart from Yeatesy and Felipe we don't posses those type of players, Worrell?
I've also read on hear about us not having a striker to finish things off, we'll using yesterday as a example, if Davis had squared the ball to MGW when he had the chance, I'm sure it would have been 2-0, its not the striker we are short of, its brains to make footballing decisions, Shelvy a prime example, only ball he looks to play is over the top to johno, is that not the move evey team will be looking for, also it cuts MGW out of his passing game, hence his 2or 3 poor performances of late.
As I said earlier in this long post I believe luck with play a very big part in us staying up, having players back, keeping them fit until the end of the season, the odd penalty would be nice, providing we put it away, freak or defected goals, I'll take any of that, a massive piece of luck, until the season ends.
Will we get it, I don't know after all we are NOTTINGHAM FOREST, the team everyone loves to hate, Including on here still it seems.

Im great thank you dream sir. And good to see you back my friend. Just got home with the yank. Had a lovely weekend in Helmsley. Beautiful day today hope your all cutting your lawns. Great post TheDream. like you can not understand the constant negativity on here. anyone would think it was our first year in league one after 23 years.
Was just looking at the league table as at Mid October. My glass is definitely half full!

Probably not staying on for long my friend but we’ll see, no season ticket back mate, the lad I gave it to comes around and fills me in on the games, not that I miss any on my box, unfortunately for the fans its not getting any better to watch. All good with the wife mate, possibly a bit better with me not being out most of the day Saturday s, but still manage to get a rollicking on Sundays mate ( were you bin, what you been up to till now your dinner’s ruined) you must know what I’m saying, ay ho you’d think she’d be used to it by now pal. Nice talking to you again my friend, I do promise to get in touch with you again mate on here, even if I don’t hang around on here for to long, you and the good lady take care of yourselves, I’m ready for a can of the black stuff, gone on that just lately along with the Jamesons, happy days ???.
