Bowie is right in his thoughts. We played without a striker yet kept getting the ball wide then the resulting speculative cross to nobody in the box. We will get better but cooper needs to up his game. We needed a striker to occupy there central defenders, Johnson was disappointing I have to say, still makes wrong decisions but what role was he supposed to adapt to today.
Kane is a bit of a lump but used his guile to Outwit us today. It was going to be a struggle with spurs scoring early. Mgw is the real deal lingard looks like boy George and I think a spent force. Strange seeing awonyi on the bench but then he looked lost when introduced. Surridge is our natural finisher but obviously cooper does not rate him at this level. We did have moments but over elaborated at times and everything just fizzled out. Don't agree that we were the better team always got the feeling that spurs were playing within themselves.

Couldn't have said it better rutters .I've apologised for being ott. But awonyi ahead of surrige. Is this just justifying the price tag because for me surrige is head and shoulders so far I've seen . I really hope lingard hasn't got one of those sh#t contacts where he's allowed to play before anyone else. when your the homeside you don't put Johnson up front. Kids still learning the trade. Ok we all know he's got skill. But our one and only natural goalscorer is surrige full stop for me.
