Steve Cooper has a history of developing and playing young players

With the likes of Back Fornah Konate Larson Fernandes and Dale Taylor our future is bright

Johnson Mighten and Yates are already established 1st team players and we have Lowe and Odejo as well

I know I will get shot down in flames for this but Fornah is our own player and Garner is keeping him out of the team let's develop own future players not Man Utd's and terminate his loan because he's been bang average this season IMO.

We shouldn’t discount any player, they were all disillusioned. I agree to an extent with garner but how many times have we heard about these world beaters from the academy only to find they aren’t good enough? Don’t write garner off just yet . As for mighten I can’t see what he is? Striker, winger? I’m not sure? He can’t cross a ball from what I’ve seen.
I agree we should bring someone who can develop younger players but don’t count your chickens that we’ve got half a dozen world beaters who are world beating yet because the manager won’t play them .
Anyhow we might not have a choice but to go with youngsters next season as this squad is going down .

Disagree 2star I’m not expecting than to be world beaters I’m expecting them to be good enough to keep us in the championship

Coventry have a much weaker squad than us and are in the top 6.

Ohhh and Ps, Yates is diabolical as you have rightly observed of late!

For sure we need a manager who has some experience and that should rule out novice managers or first time managers such as Cohen / Reid / etc.

Chris Coleman could be a good option but I think Cooper might be a better one as he is more up to date on the championship. Alex Neil could be an alternative.

Personally I don't like the idea of Wilder - perhaps he would go buy back all the ex forest players there so could end up with Osborn, Robinson and co back - which given our current might not be a bad thing but I would prefer someone who can get the best out of the current bunch.

Big decision for the board to make and I am pretty sure that they are not up to. The record speaks for itself.

If we really want the problem fixed and for us to improve, then we really need a different owner. This is not working and we need some who appear to give a f**k.

Why do you need experienced manager?
Most of them go from job to job and haven't got the bottle to go out and entertain.
These so called "experienced manahers" stop up and coming ones getting a start.
