So Wilson signs for Fulham for 12m! When most clubs are struggling financially and even sign free transfer players (particularly Direby! ) .
This is what is so wrong about the parachute payments vs FFP. The league is becoming more unbalanced every year and only the sides that get relegated from the prior season and the season before that are really able to compete at the top.
Financial reform is a must for the Championship. Those parachute payments need to be shared across all clubs competing in the league each year and not to just the ones that drop. Totally unfair and this is what will eventually kill the competitive nature of the EFL.
The top two this year will be out of Fulham, Sheff Utd, West Brom, or Bournemouth. Becoming as predictable as the PL.
Hope our Chairman can help sort this out from within the EFL now.

Southwandy: Grabban is totally garbage. Read the match report and yet again he was content with playing midfield rather than striker. mentions that he spent most of the game linking the play. well sorry, shouldn't he be the one at the END of the link? CH is bonkers if he thinks that same players who nearly got us relegated last term, are going to do anything different this term.

If Grabban is reverting to his useless performances of last season I would get rid NOW bring one of the younger strikers in from the Academy before it's too late,or offer Hibs a couple of mill for Nisbet we can't afford Divas prancing around and getting paid for doing nothing also CH sort out a captain who can rally the lads,but I might be wrong and Grabbon finds his form☹ï¸

Last season Hughton indicated he might use Grabban some of the time as a link player between midfield and the front players.
If Hughton thinks Grabban would be better off in that position with a younger striker able to get up the pitch faster and combine with the other front players we have to wait and see if he is right.
No matter the quality of a striker not much service means not many goals give it a chance.

I think if things stay the same, Q P R will finish well above us. Fulham will go back up and there's at least eight better teams than us. Should have stuck with Warburton.

wba will win the league, no doubt on that. because that's what they do every couple of seasons, its to do with the cash they get for going up, what is it know 100mil. work it out, its 50mil a season give or take. they wouldn't get that sitting in the bottom half of the prem.
{Ed001's Note - that's simply not true. The figures talked about for going up include money for being in the Prem and parachute payments. You get much more by staying in the Prem.}

ED/ simple its all dirty money, men should be paid on what they work for. These men haven't . thus bringing them to the championship. Why should every club stuck there watch them wallow in gains of security. On a personal view all i want is to watch exciting football. To which brought me to this great club. I hate to say this being negative but its going to be a while before i see this again. But once you've had a first high of forest your always going to be looking for your next fix. Anyway will always luv this club ðŸ‘.

thanks bowiered, my point was sides like wba and norwich seem to visit the championship on a regular basis, then take a large wedge back with them. take the play off final, the media call it the richest final in football. but then what do i know ed calls me an ignorant bigot. sticks and stones.
