Assuming Forest and Derby both manage to stay up, it looks as though there's going to be another East Midlands derby to look forward to next season!
Obviously, worst case scenario is that we swop places with Lincoln next season but let's hope that we've got enough to stay in the Championship - a win at Wycombe tomorrow would certainly go quite a long way towards achieving this!
If the Imps do come up to the Championship, it will be interesting to see how things work out with the Brennan Johnson situation - wouldn't be totally surprised if he ends up playing for neither Forest or Lincoln as you can easily envisage a Premier League club coming in with a large offer for him.

Yes 1958 I agree, unlikely to see Johnson in Forest shirt next season. He will be the next one gone to help balance the books.

what would us fans except a team of over the hill money grabbers that struggle mid table every season and every now and then touch the top 6,or drop down a division play the kids rebuild over a couple of seasons and come back young and strong. me i not bothered if its championship or div 1 i just want to see pride and passion back at the city ground.

If it’s true that jenkinson is on 25k a week it’s those kind of signings that will mean Johnson and others have to be sold . This is a dreadful state of affairs and I think it’s now dawning on most fans that forest are a total basket case behind the scenes . The pessimistic moaners have been saying for a couple of seasons now but I think most are now seeing the true cost of scatter gun approach to signings.

Another thing as well, so I get that the main stand plans are on hold . Can anyone explain why the rest of the ground improvements haven’t been undertaken?
