As January approaches it time to try to get rid of the players who are blocking the way forward for our very talented recent crop of young players ,l would much sooner see these lads around the 1st team ,all loanies should be returned .
Often talented young players are strangled in limbo and end up going stale and lose their way .
I would love to see 3 or 4 quickly involved in the squad and older over the hill players shown the door ,know it won,t be easy but it must happen.

I’d like to see Ateef Konate,19 yrs old attacking midfielder given a chance. Scoring for the u23’s and Reidy rates him.

Great post Carlo, that would definitely work. Ask Man Utd all those years ago, a blend of youth and experience was the magic formula. Unless you ask Alan Hansen of course!!
