I don't blame them. €40M is a lot of money for a player who couldn't get in the first team of a club in an inferior league. A permanent deal at basically what they paid when they clearly didn't rate him enough to play him is ridiculous.
Juventus need to get real with the price, assuming Luiz isn't waiting for a Champion's League offer. If they are confident he is good enough then a loan with obligation to buy if he starts 25 games amounts to the same thing. If they think he won't trigger 25 games then stay well clear.
