So Brentford can beat Everton but we can’t lay a glove on them …….

Agree0 Disagree0

But we did beat Brentford Gold Stars first game of the season. Apart from Arsenal and Man City, anybody can beat anybody it seems at any given time. Very unpredictable.

Brentford ain't got Dyche gold stars.200 million spent. Look at our first 11 which is virtually the same every game and its crap side. Look at the bench and its even worse. Sub any of the first 11 and the team gets weaker. What a mess.

Only makes it worse stokey.

What you have to look at is last season we where the lowest goalscoring side in the top eight
Mist of our goals and assists came from two players wood and elanga, 25 goals and double figure assists gone from our side.

Brentford's data driven "Money Ball" approach seems to have paid dividends again with Igor Thiago, cost 30 million, but Brentford must of been confident of a good sell on price, how did we miss out on him, when we was desperate for a striker at the start of the season!.

Dyche had nothing to do with that utter waste of good money spent on bang average players, his job and only his job is to try and get that bunch to get us safe. ( An up hill battle make no mistake). I hope he puts the kids out against Wrexham and saves the other lot for arsenal.

04 Jan 2026 18:37:41
I think if he sets up wrong again and loses to West ham, then he should not be in charge for Wrexham anyway.

A Forest win only makes it worse Gold Stars? There’s a few on here with that attitude mate! ?????.

04 Jan 2026 19:44:40
Larry Balloons, mate, why is the squad anything to do with Dyche? He’s had no say in signing any of them, they were all here long before he arrived. He inherited those players and had 10 weeks with them. Yet you ( and Skeggs plus DTP ) want him out in much the same way as you wanted SC and Nuno and Ange gone.

I’m actually losing the will to live in this repetitive debate so I’ll leave it with the words “ Let’s give the bloke a chance and see how it goes eh? ”.

Absolutely correct stoney, no point in getting rid of dyche his track record over the years is one of resilience. Mind you this is his toughest gig and if he can do a miracle well done and give him the freedom of the city.

And who in their right mind would take the job given our prodicement? No Mr M has to stick with what he's got and remember we all knew what was coming after getting into Europe.
