First half for 25 mins we were overrun. This except Murillo was the same side that beat Liverpool. SD after 45 brings on Hutchinson. He alone transformed the side into an attacking force. The next 45 we dominated. I expected a 1-1 result. The Brighton defence kept us out as largely the Forest defence did for Brighton in the first half. So the final score belies the game we all saw. To me Hutchison typifies a true winger, he takes on players and passes them. His final ball needs a bit of tuning.
By this definition, Ndoye is not a winger. He is not quick and doesn’t get past players. OD is better than Ndoye but can’t get past players in a Hutchison manner. Dominguez is a midfielder certainly not a winger. SD saw this and changed at halftime. This transformed the game as he, Woan and Stone saw. Morato is not Murillo but SD patently does not trust any of the other candidates. SD will pick the side up I have no doubts. Let’s see what Wednesday brings.
