All the talk of Samba returning I think Samba was a great character and was brilliant for us but he was not averse to going off script. I think Sels is now fitting in better with the new regular defense Samba would be second choice and I don't think he would want that.

All past hence cyprus. Like spitting etc. I remember malcolm macdonald saying how much ya got to get rid of whatevers on your chest on 70s superstars. Btw the big lad shottptting legend capes just passed away unfortunately. Loved the lad. As keegen etc taking part. Who'd have ever thought racing drivers were so fit. The good old days. When you could break legs for a yellow and hearts for a red. COYR 1-1 bowies prediction. Safe travels luv ya reds.

It's a perfect example of putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 7. He only turned up to watch one match and all of a sudden there's 'talk of Samba returning'.

Agreed. He's allowed to enjoy the success that he helped create. I personally love ol boys returning to support!

Yes Bowie, very sad to hear yesterday bout Geoff Capes, was a sporting hero of mine as a kid, I can't pick up a car battery without thinking of him with his arms out straight shaking, used to love watching WSM back then.
Funnily enough we were talking about Superstars yesterday with Keegan stacking his bike on the cinder track and Alan Minter going like the clappers but not straight and went into the bushes on the bank:)

Geoff Capes story for you. My Dad's fork lift company had him as a sponsor at the Lincolnshire agricultural show. Many moons ago. My Dad 5'8", Capes 6'4". Capes 'make me a cup of tea' in an arrogant tone. My Dad? 'Make your own effing tea'. Legend status.
