Got to say at the moment Sels is out performing most of the keepers in the premiership well done him and Nuno for sticking with him.

Yes, he gave a keeping masterclass yesterday, he didn't put a foot wrong, he has been impressive.
The defence is playing really well and love the way we are blocking so many shots now.
Something like 50 corners now we haven't conceded from, last year they were flying in.
Great performance all round, well done Forest.

Thats what you get with Nuno. A really difficult team to break down and swift counter attacks. He was Murinio's apprentice, and plays the same brand of football and that guy did pretty well.
The trouble is it was all to easy for some to call for Nuno and Sels out instead of letting the man have a pre season and getting his style across. ?.

All excellent posts particularly you Balloons. Having a pre season with the bulk of his squad in place is a big plus, something SC didn’t really get. As you say, Nuno s team look well drilled and with a recognisable playing style, difficult to break down and quick on the counter. I think we will see quite a few entertaining 1 nils this season.

It does help that he can speak the same language as most of the squad, something sc I understand struggled with. But fair play to nuno his brand of football is light years better than that of sc.
