I couldn't agree more. I watched several FA Cup games over the weekend without VAR and enjoyed them much more without the tiresome delays caused by VAR. Five minutes to dicide on that "offside" was rediculous. If it takes that long allow it. also I think it should be a players feet that decide offside. His shoulder or nose or even his head shouldn't be the determining factor.

Clear and obvious is what we were promised. No linesman in the history of the game has ever been able to tell if someone’s toe was 6cm offside and therein lies the problem. Technically offside historically not offside.

I sometimes think football would be better off without VAR. You can't really celebrate a goal without waiting a minute or two for VAR to check it by which time the novelty has worn off.

I don't often post on here as I see what happens when when some people disagree and it gets personal. I was sorry to see Nuno go but looking at his record twards the end I can't say I'm surprised. The choice of replacement was a disaster and Dyche was brought in to bring some sort of sanity which he did for a while but now we are looking at the consequenses.

I have watched evey single game live, home and away, last season and this season, because of where I live. We have brought in some top class players and have the makings of a top 8 Premier League club but sadly some decisions and now some injuries mean we are fighting against relegation again. Without Wood we don't have a Premier League striker.

Jesus is a big hearted and quite talented striker but just not good enough on his own. Anderson looks knackered and given Dyche's long ball tactics is beginning to lose heart as is MGW. We have talent on the wings but without the right sort of striker on the end of crosses they are starting to look predictable.

Either we stick with Dyche to hopefully keep us in the Premier League, for the rest of the season or we look to find a talented manager who can mould the talent we have, bring in new players to create the team we would all like to see. I would favour the latter but I can see the risks in doing that.

I can also see the risks in sticking with a manager who's tactics are years out of date and are totally unsuited to the players, paticularly in midfield and upfront that we possess. The next few games will be crucial. Losses to Arsenal, Brentford, Leeds and even Wolves could put us in the bottom 3 again. Not what we were anticipating after last season's success. Everything crossed for the rest of the season.

Spot on.

The pre season was a disaster only ampaphid by employing the Australian, Sean Dyche took over and when the games came every few days Sean Dyche didn't have time to get his ideas across to the players, so some good results, the longer he's had the performances have gone backwards!. Sean after the Wrexham game called out some players, I would like to hear the players opinions about how they are told to play, Garner at Everton said it was like having the shackles taken off when Sean left, it seems it's his way of playing or your called out, it's still in Sean's hands how it turns out at Forest, but think it will take a big Damascus moment for him to change his football DNA, it's fortunate for Sean that Gary Brazil has left, because I could have seen him already in charge until the end of the season!.

Well said capetown and mossy, you've been watching the same games as me.

Superb post Capetown. I guess the Forest management are sitting at the poker table now, debating whether to stick or twist with regards to Dyche.

A gamble both ways, for sure. Personally, I'd stick.

Grit and determination will only get you so far. It needs a plan and organisation as well which the team doesn't have and has never really had under Cooper. Players need to know what is expected of them and watching them week in and week out I don't think they do. If we can't find someone with the right pedigree then stick with Cooper but don't expect to be in the Premier League next season.

I am still trying to understand what the Cooper way is. They don't attack. They don't press when they lose the ball. They can't string more than 3 passes together and that usually in their own half. Without Awoniyi we have no goal scorer. Wood is the new Silenzi and I at 72 could give a better impression of a footballer than Origi.

Forest were lucky to get promoted and Cooper is still living on that success but last year and this I still do not see what he is trying to create. IT would seem all the players and all the other Premier League teams see this. The sooner he goes the better and it is only the lack of an obvious successor that has prevented it happening sooner.

About the same time last season, us and Villa was making a decision on there manager we stuck and are where we are know, they got a new manager, they are where they are. All we can hope for if Mr Marinakis gives SC another chance is, we will be like Norwich, up one season, down the next!.

7.) 07 Dec 2023 20:11:12
The Punch and Judy shows in full swing, never seen two people revel so much in the heavy defeat of a team they reckon they support.

8.) 07 Dec 2023 20:28:33
We're not discussing the heavy defeat stevie can't see anywhere we've mentioned that mate we're discussing the fact that cooper will be sacked mate.

9.) 07 Dec 2023 21:15:06
Skegs oh yeah because last nights heavy defeat and spectaculation about coopers future are totally unconnected of course.

10.) 08 Dec 2023 01:53:31
What's is it stevie. So angry mate. I've stated earlier in the day how the Fulham game hurt me as much as you. Read again the thread us about Cooper ?.

11.) 08 Dec 2023 06:53:52
Some people just read into things too much and if you've not noticed stevie everyone in football is speculating about coopers future not just me and balloons.
