All the years we’ve waited for PL football now-sadly look to be coming to a quick end.
43 new players, 250 m spent, we’re very unlikely to get away a point’s deduction.
I hope I, m wrong but can’t see it.
What a mess Mr M and his cohorts have made in their desire to run before they could walk.
CARLO.

Doesn't only matter what we've spent, revenues count too.
The Maranakis family will not give up PL football as easy as you Carlo. I'm not saying it's right but if you pay for the best legal representation, you usually get what you want. FTID.

Yep carlo it's the end of the world if you believe the papers ?.

06 Jan 2024 11:57:54
Carlo why don’t you call a meeting about being negative then cancel it because you don’t think it will work?.

06 Jan 2024 12:09:55
Well the advice they, ve listened to has been very poor. Scandalous waste of revenue, lots of it on players most reds fans would struggle to indentify.
I, m not giving up on the PL just being realistic, pity realism wasn’t hardly used in the last few years.
There’s people on our board who should be nowhere near Nottingham Forest FC.

Probably best to see what the outcome is before throwing the towel in.

We're doomed! Carlo is the new Frasier of Dad's army fame. So if they give us a 10 point deduction, it's not impossible for us to overcome that, just like Everton will. We're 5 clear atm, another 5 more points to go. That's called being positive Carlo.

Stokey mate, i read about forest been clear from sky news on our forest website. The main problem they said we had was the loaning of shelvey, which took us past the 7 x loan maximum. But they explained we quickly overcame that bye making the move permanent. ? nothing to do with monies.

My thoughts are our potential FFP problems are on the discussion page in reply to a good post from Redjames.
I think it all hinges on whether they allow the £47 m from Johnno s sale to be included in the assessment. It should have been done by 30 th June apparently to count but he wasn’t sold until 1st September. Our argument ( as far as I can tell) is that by hanging on we got an extra £10 m in the coffers. However, with the Government looking at bringing in legislation to control the rampant corruption in the Prem the latter may want to forestall that by making examples of clubs like us and Everton.
We are worried enough to have retained, at considerable expense, a top barrister in this field to fight our corner, a Mr de Marco I believe. On the plus side it is an independent tribunal.
Myself, Carlo, I wouldn’t have cut it so fine mate. It will be a damned close run thing in my view. ??.

Carlo.
Don't believe the Snooze paper's.
Until Forest make a statement everything is Cool ?.
Forest will be ok.

It follows mistake after mistake Stokey.
They knew we were in trouble last June and Jonno was told he had to leave, so what did we do, spend a load more.
Ventroz responsible for all the early waste, was he dismissed? No put on the board.
As my dad would have said It, s not jonack, meaning fishy.
CARLO.

Carlo, "Our liability on amortised transfer fees for last season was around 50m, you can add another 5m on top of that for loan fees. "

We haven't spent as much that season as people think. The fees are spread over the length of a player's contract. We actually spent the most on Wood as his contract was only a year.

You forget, all the loans we have sent out we still pay most of their thousands of pounds wages.
Don't get my info from newspapers. it comes from actual people.
No one will be more upset than me if the worst happens, but it shouldn’t be off the field mismanagement that causes it, that to me will be heartbreaking.
CARLO.

If we cannot count how many players are on loan, god help the financial side!.

More than welcome my friend, as ginger rightfully says, don't throw the towel in until we know. Not you stokey. But some.
