From what we’re seen from the two new keepers we could have given Shelvey a chance.
18m spent but so far not impressive.
I know I, ll hear not experienced but young keepers sometimes work out.
Neither of the new keepers fit into the the ball playing keeper idiom.
The days of young players break through are probably well in the past and top young kids will have Forest low on their and their parents list.
It, s a vicious circle.

100% agree with all this Carlo, I think we’d be up there on the list if we establish ourselves though.

Carlo I speak to our under 9s coach most days as he a business associate and he tells me that he's never had such a talented bunch as he has right now, it can't happen overnight.

Lots of kid’s coaches possibly have some very talented 9 year old but they will be poached by the top clubs when they’re old enough to travel further.
Most clubs have to make the best of what they are left with when the boys get older but their going to be very fortunate to get to league level because blocking the way are the vast number of imports that clubs have now.
Young players used to get their chance and the chance to develop in the team and learn but it, ll be only really exceptional young players who get this chance.
Too much at stake now for mangers to risk doing this I, m afraid.

Of course he is they then move on up the ladder to different age levels under different coaches as they progress through the academy.
